Reincarnated as a Dog with System

Chapter 32 - I Am Your God Part1

"Who allowed you guys to hunt in our territory?" Two men walked over and stood next to Su Yan and Lu Chen, one of whom kicked Qin Hua, sending her body crashing into the wall with a single kick.

She yelped in pain, completely caught off guard by the sudden attack, but thankfully, she had already developed the instincts to hide as if it was her second nature.

She instantly blended into the darkness before the two men could react.

"What the hell? Where did that damn mutt go?" The taller one grimaced, scratching his head.

Qin Hua was about to run away as fast as she could, but she stopped after hearing the man's loud comment. It was clear that his perceptivity was not too good and he didn't sense her presence.

Though it was risky, she decided to stay back and figure out just what the hell was happening since both Su Yan and Lu Chen were still injured and needed her help.

"What? What did you just do? Little white?" Lu Chen panicked, looking around here and there, searching for the dog.

Things were happening too fast for him to process, especially when he hadn't yet recovered from the fight with the two strong zombies.

"Damn it. You stupid fuck. Stop searching for your dog and answer me first. Did you both kill the two zombies on this floor?"

Lu Chen turned to look at him blankly, having no words to answer that question. What was he supposed to say? His pet dog killed both the zombies single-handedly? Would these guys even believe him?

"What is going on? Who are you both?" He asked, diverting from the topic. At the same time, his mind was busily trying to come up with a solution. He had let down Su Yan far too many times and the fact that his friend was still alive was a miracle.

This was his chance to make up for everything. Lu Chen did not know what the two men wanted but from the looks of it, they were up to no good.

"This guy! Look at his attitude! Don't you know how to talk to your God?"

God? Lu Chen stared at him, blinking, wondering what the hell he was talking about.

"Ptui. I should just bash your skull right here and now. You heard me right, you little bitch. I am your God."

The man raised his leg, intending to kick aside Lu Chen, the same way he had kicked Qin Hua, but the guy standing next to him stopped him.

"Take it easy, Bai. We better bring these both back to the boss before we do anything. They seemed to be awakened as well."

Hiding in the shadows, Qin Hua breathed a sigh of relief seeing that at least one of the two meatheads had some brain in their thick heads.

Bai grunted and sighed in displeasure, but eventually agreed to his companion's words. "Get the hell up and follow us."

Lu Chen clenched his fist. He did not want to do what they were pressuring him to do, but it looked like he didn't have any other option.

The two men looked too strong for him to handle by himself, especially when Su Yan's state was not too great. He couldn't take the chances that they wouldn't kill the both of them right here and now if he didn't follow their orders.

"Can you guys give us some time to recover? I am hurt and my friend here is also hurt." He explained, trying his luck.

"Eh? Why are you telling me that? It's not like you are dead, right? If it hurts that bad tell me, then I can just simply kill you off and make everything a lot easier."

"Stand up. Now." The man kicked him with his feet, nudging him to stand up.

Lu Chen grit his teeth and with no other option, he tried to stand up which only made his wound worse, more blood spluttering out.

He winced in pain and flopped back down, after which he tore the shirt he was wearing and bandaged it on his wound tightly. He then stood up again, only barely supporting himself.

But nevertheless, he tried to lift Su Yan up, who was still covered by burn injuries, albeit a lot better than before. He was not fully conscious, so Lu Chen leaned his body against his shoulders and dragged Su Yan along with him as he walked.

"See! There you go! Not that difficult now, was it?" The man called Bai chuckled, enjoying Lu Chen's plight. The other one, however, wordlessly walked in the front.

Qin Hua dug her nails into the ground, only barely able to hold on. She couldn't bear seeing the two people who were closest to her being treated this way and trampled on.

Perhaps because she was a dog and dogs were loyal in nature, every part of her body screamed and commanded her to leap forward and tear apart the two big guys.

She watched them with reddened eyes as the two big muscular men walked over and stopped in front of the elevator, which from the looks of it, they had repaired and was working once again.

The cable whirred and the elevator stopped in front of them.

They were about to get on, with Lu Chen and Su Yan limping behind when the silent one suddenly asked.

"What about the mana cores from the two zombies?"
