MIDDLE OF THE DRYAD FOREST

"Ariana, Where do you want to go?" adam asked at the same time, Ju-Ju also woke up from his slumber and put circles around Ariana apologetically.

"It's fine don't worry," she paused and recalled Ju-Ju "Adam, let's go straight and get out of the forest!"

"Understood! Let's go with that then"

The two advanced through the forest to the opposite direction from the ruins.

After 30 minutes of advancing, Adam got a message, when he checked it, he was instantly surprised.

It was from Ariana.

"Adam. Behind us, some players are targeting us from the right brush"

To not get suspected, the two of them continued to chat within themselves while walking.

"They don't seem that strong but they're aiming for a chance"

"For the meantime, do you want to catch them?"

"You can do that?"

"Ha, who do you think I am, hmm ^~^"

"I will paralyze them, then you take them out"

"Okay"

After answering short and quickly, Ariana turned and summoned Ju-Ju.

"Paralyze Shout"

*Shaa..*, the sound created from Ju-Ju's mouth echoed through the forest, followed by four groaning voices from the brush behind them.

"What do you think?"

"Perfect."

The two approached the brush with no problems.

In there, 4 players received the powerful paralysis and collapsed.

Adam's abyss angel quickly sank into their chest, but no medal was dropped.

With this, it is the 3rd time they have encountered a player since the event has started.

"Including today, only five days remaining, we might meet strong players somewhere"

Since they had encounters four times in two days, on simple calculations, they should have ten encounters.

Also, a group like before will be tough to fight against, even if Adam is the strongest player in [Horizon] it will be at least a bit tough to fight 8 or 10 players at onc3.

"Don't worry, I will protect you no matter what?" adam said grinningly while her face only turned red.

'Stupid'

Another hour advancing the forest.

When the sunlight started to reach from the gap of the trees.

Finally, they were able to see the scenery outside the forest.

It was a valley that spread before them.

The place where they were standing is on the top of the highest cliff.

There was a lush of plants, and anyone can hear the bird's voices.

The bottom of the valley was covered by a deep fog, and you can't grasp the whole picture.

If someone is to explore here, they first need to do something to be able to go down.

"Hey, I wonder if someone had already explored?"

"I don't know, but if it's this huge, they might've someplace they forgot to explore?" Adam said while picking up the grass below his feet.

[Symbiotic Thorn] Adam was quick to store it in inventory but only after some time, he realized 'I am not weak anymore. Only he knows how many times he had survived with help of this plant.

He sighed and enjoyed the beautiful scenery before him.

As adam had said, the valley was very huge.

There are more than a hundred meters for sure from the place where both of them were right now.

On top of that, its width is also wide.

This also seems to have easily more than a hundred meters.

"I guess so. Then, let's quickly go down"

"Hum," Adam lifted Ariana in his hands, and used 'fly'.

'I hope he doesn't look at my face, now' her face was fully flushed.

Adam landed on the ground with a light step, but the bottom of the cliff was filled with mist, adam also drained almost 300 of his MP, so he can't use 'Fly' or it will burdensome while fighting monsters.

"I can't see ahead at all"

They were standing before a small river, it was making a sound from the water that was flowing to the slight step.

The place Ariana pointed to. You can barely see that there was a crack in the boulders and had been a cave.

Thinking that it might be a dungeon, the two approached that and entered inside, but they found out that it is only a huge crack that was not that deep and has not many signs of monsters.

"Let's make this place our camp. It seems like valley exploration would take time too"

Although it was only a huge crack, as Adam had mentioned, it was enough conditions to be a camp.

At least, it would be far better than the top of a tree or behind the bushes.

Surprisingly the cave's surface was fully covered with grasses which gave them a comfy feeling while lying down.

Adam roasted some meat both of them ate it quietly as there was nothing much to talk about.

They rested inside the cave for an hour and decided to explore the valley.
