After having sex with Mikita, which was quite kinky, Josh had to continue with his life.
Mikita, after her promotion, had a mission outside the island.
So, of course, she had to leave.
Before leaving, she gave a strong kiss to Josh and told him this. "You better promote quickly. I may get stressed, and I need you quickly."
Josh just smiled and kissed her back, feeling better than ever, and more motivated to get stronger.
Now that he mastered Shave and could move very fast. With such a technique, Josh should be able to do more risky missions with more ease. After all, Shave's level was higher than Baroque Work's arc. And Josh was trying to develop new footwork out of it. But, for now, he is happy with what he got, and he can develop it with all of the time he has.
After Mikita left, Josh started working on himself.
Josh made sure to order a weapon from the organisation. Since Kung Fu is a martial art that has weapons in it, Josh ordered some daggers.
Josh, within this week, continued training his body and martial arts.
Soon, some pirate ship approached their island.
Josh, just like everyone else, followed the protocol. They acted friendly with pirates and gave them drinks, making them drunk. After that, they attacked them.
Josh, with his martial arts and Shave, had an easier time than his peers as he would use his super-speed technique to appear behind them and slash their nerves in their legs.
Josh, even after coming living in this world for a while, still hesitated when it comes to killing for no reason. He just wounded his foes, and it felt bad for him. However, he suppressed that and showed a ruthless facial expression.
'Well, it's just for money.' Killing for money alone gives a bad taste.
Josh made a great performance compared to his peers here. A couple of days later, Josh got a mission from the headquarter, which he immediately knew that it was a test.
He took a ship with a couple of officers, Mike, which he knew from his previous task with the dead Mr. 10, and someone else, who fight using dual bats.
Josh knew his target, 20 million berries Pirate captain, Sorrow. His crew's worth is 30 million. If Josh leads the mission successfully, he will get 10 million, while the rest would be disturbed between the headquarter of Baroque Works and the materials used in the mission.
Well, Josh found it logical that Baroque asking for a high share. They provide poison, potions, exploding barrels to them, and an army to assist them.
These would help the pirate hunters to take stronger pirates with ease.
And of course, it's not for free.
Soon, the mission started when they arrived at the island. Josh has made a formation for the men and finished instructing them. He, soon, sneaked to the pirates' rations and poured the sleeping potion on them, making them sleep at night.
When the mid of the night arrived, Josh and his group arrived. It was an easy fight with pirates being sleepy and barely able to see much less fight.
However, it seemed, the captain was unaffected by the medicine Josh made.
"Bastard, you think I eat in the night. I fuck bitches this time!" Expressed his anger, Sorrow.
Sorrow was a bulky man with missed eye and a sharp hook instead of a real hand.
He soon dashed at Josh.
Josh couched lowly, a dagger in one hand, and the other making a claw. When Sorrow was about to hit him, Josh waved his dagger up and used Shave to move back.
The two movements were used at the same time.
Josh just appeared behind, with the dagger up.
"What…" Sorrow growled at Josh, who disappeared in front of his eye and appeared five meters back. When the words left his mouth, blood gashed out of a wound that appeared on Sorrow's chest.
Taking advantage of Sorrow's shock, Josh used Shave Twice to move, and he appeared next to Sorrow's leg, waving the dagger and cutting the veins there.
"Brat!"
Sorrow turned and slammed. Josh placed his hand on the ground and pushed himself up, jumping and dodging.
With that, Josh continued his movements, waving the dagger whenever he had a chance. After ten minutes, even with Sorrow's strong will, he was out of the blood and fell on the ground.
"Take him back, we are going to deliver them," Josh said, looking up to the sky.
There was an eagle, clothed, and a cat above it. The cat wore cute clothes and sunglasses.
The cat, somehow, was holding a pencil and writing things.
Josh knew that these two were agents in Baroque Works, and they have been watching his performance.

As expected, a day after coming back from the mission, Josh found that he was promoted to an actual number in Baroque work.
He is no longer an officer, but an Agent.
"Mr. 9, currently."
As it seems, the previous Mr.8 and Mr 9 has died, leaving their spots for free.
In Baroque Works, agents die occasionally.
However, he never heard that someone, from Ms. 6 to Mr. 1 has died.
Well, those people are very strong, so it was expectable.
Josh just threw the promotion letter to the corner. He has just gotten his 10 million Berries, along with 1 million berries from the previous week.
"Good," he, somehow, found that he could put them inside of the system.

The system asked him. Josh seemed to have the option of how much he can spend.
But he thought, would it worth to wait for more, or think if he should try to see if he can gain something. However, currently, he was making money well, and he was an agent.
The system wasn't giving him tasks, which implied that he wasn't risking his life. Only when his life on the line, the system would give him a task under the name of gambling.
"Hey, Joshy."
Josh was surprised by Mikita's visit, as he was sitting behind the gym's building.
"Hey, chocolate."
After he opened his arm, the two of them hugged and exchanged kisses for some time. Josh, somehow, missed this girl.
"Joshy, I've thought about you during my mission."
"So was I," Lied Josh.
"I know. You better be." Mikita nodded.
Josh just smirked.
"Congratulation before becoming Mr. 9 by the way, did they find you a partner yet?" Mikita asked.
In Baroque works, each male agent has a female agent that assists him.
They should be good at teamwork. Mikita had been with the previous Mr.9 before he promotes, which happened to be Gem.
"No." Josh shook his head, "I think it's up to the headquarter."
"Great then" Mikita's eyes lit up. "I will apply to be your partner, saying that we make a great teamwork."
For her, it is better to choose a partner who can save her from drawing, and she is dating him. This way, she can keep an eye on him.
Josh opened his eyes widely. Great. If Mikita joined him, then there is the possibility of…
"This is great." Josh smiled as he rubbed her hand.
"By the way, I got my first paycheck," Mikita said, lifting her hand and rolling around. "I made 15 million Berries, and that was just the paycheck of the first month. Boss is really generous, even when there is no job."
As it seems, agents, unlike officers, gets big rewards.
Josh's eyes lit up. "That much!?"
"Yes. Well. I think Baroque Works accumulated a lot of money."
Mikita lowered her head.
She had a dream to achieve. But money can make people change their minds.
'I'm not in hurry.' She thought in herself as she smiled at Josh's face.
"Truly. He has a lot of money." Josh nodded.
As he had seen, many agents would die occasionally after hunting many pirates. Crocodile must have made so much profit. Moreover, Crocodile has a casino.
'I want to know, how much money he has.'
Josh looked to the side, his academic brain doing the math.
Mikita's face suddenly flashed in front of him, shocking him and snapping him out of his thought process.
"What are you thinking about"
"Just how to steal a kiss."
Josh took the initiative to kiss her as he hugged her from the waist.
While enjoying the kiss, his brain was thinking of something else other than having sex.
'I can get a lot of Draw Points if I take Crocodile's money.'

While Mikita's tongue was tickling him, Josh opened his eyes widely.
Mikita took her lips back. "Well, you have to miss me a lot to open your eyes like this. Fine, say no more. We can have that."
Mikita gave him her back and pushed her hips against his crotch. She thought that Josh's heart was taken by her. Meanwhile, Josh was thinking about how many risks there are for him to trigger such a mission.
