Chapter 25: Repair Completed

After sensing another earthquake, Smith felt his scalp went numb.

He was inside the tunnel. If anything were to happen, he would die immediately.

“System, continue to strengthen the tunnel!”

The first thing that Smith thought of was the system. He asked the system to strengthen and repair the tunnel.

The general manager in charge of the tunnel project wrote Smith a check for five million.

The five million construction money was also a reward for helping them repair the tunnel.

At noon, Smith instructed the construction robot to drive the shield machine to dig the tunnel.

“Boss, where did our company’s shield machine come from?” asked Eve. She was confused.

She had been working with Smith but she never knew that the company had a shield machine.

A shield machine suddenly appeared just when they wanted to build a tunnel.

“It’s imported. I bought it a long time ago.”

Smith made up an excuse.

The system had all the legal documents and certificates for the shield machine. Thus, Smith was not afraid if he was investigated.

“Boss, how does the shield machine work? Can I go and have a look?” asked Eve curiously.
