"You should go out and get a masseuse if you need a massage. I really don't have time for you" she said emotionlessly. She acted as if she doesn't care about him.

Jingyi Wang's hand which reached out to grab the news paper on the coffee table froze. ​​

He glanced at Xiao li, "You want another woman to touch my body?"

His lips twisted at the thought of another woman touching his body. He felt disgusted.

In the city, everyone knows that Jingyi Wang doesn't like it when a woman touch his body.

Xiao li said, "So What? let them touch your body, I don't care"

Hearing what she said, Jingyi Wang heaved a sigh of relief. She turned to leave, but at that moment, she suddenly heard him say, "Then can you cook for me too? You see, I'm very-"

However, before he could finish his statement, Xiao li interrupted him. She said, "No, if you want to eat, go get something to eat outside, or cook for yourself"

After she said this, she turned around and walked into the kitchen. Jingyi Wang saw her pick up a blue apron and wore it. She watched the green vegetable that the head chef had bought for her.

Then, she picked up a knife and started to cut the vegetables. Her left hand was holding the vegetables while her right hand held the knife, carefully cutting the vegetables.

Jingyi Wang broke out of cold sweat. He was scared that she might hurt herself while cutting the vegetables, but he was wrong. Xiao li cutting skills baffled him. She was even more better than the chefs he hired.

A whole day passed. After Jingyi Wang got back from work, he saw that the bedroom upstairs was still dark. He stopped his in tracks and confusedly asked, "Where is Xiao li?"

Jingyi Wang frowned and walked into the study room, then he turned on his laptop and started working.

The sky suddenly darkened and before he knew it, it was already 10 pm. Jingyi Wang and his team had carried out a meeting that had lasted for hours, and afterwards, they had dismissed it and left.

Jingyi Wang suddenly remembered that Xiao li was reading in the guest room. He took a large strides towards the bedroom. When he pushed opened the door of the bedroom, he was shocked.

He was greeted with a figure, whose entire body curled up into a ball to fit on the couch. Xiao li had fallen asleep. Her hand which was holding the book dropped, thus making the book fall onto the ground with a "thud"

The trees outside the window rustled as they were blown by the wind and the curtains also moved with the wind.

Jingyi Wang frowned when he noticed her delicate lips mummered some words which he could not hear. He walked over and saw that she was shivering. She was cold.

However, he didn't want her to catch a cold, so he covered her with a duvet.

On the other hand, Xiao li felt a warm flow over her body. Her tightly furrowed eyebrows relaxed.

Jingyi Wang squatted down and took his time to study her face. The light from the moon cast on her face making her look more innocent. Her face was calm like a baby.

He reached out his long, slender fingers and gently stroke her white, soft face, then he lowered his gaze and picked up the book and placed it on the desk.

Eventually, Jingyi Wang ended up carrying her into the room. He gently placed her on the bed. He make sure she was properly covered with the duvet before entering the bathroom.

Afterwards, he came out, he had casually put on a sleeping robe and was looking at his phone in his hands. He walked to the bed and sat down.

At that point, he got a call from his mother. She excitedly asked for Xiao li, but was disappointed when she heard that Xiao li was already asleep, then she hung up the call.

Jingyi Wang stared blankly at his phone. His mother only called because she wanted to hear Xiao li's voice. But... what about him?

Is he not her son also?

Jingyi Wang did not know what's going on in his mother's head. These past few days, she would only call to hear Xiao li's voice, as if he is not even her child.

Jingyi Wang felt frustrated and laid his back on the bed. He turned on the night lamp, and then he fell asleep.

An alarm rang loudly.

Xiao li woke up in a daze, throwing back the covers, she almost jumped off the bed with her eyes closed. She opened her eyes half consciously as she reached out her arm to turn off the alarm.

However, this movement caused her to roll and plop down onto the floor on her butt.

"Ouch... my a**" She winced in pain and rubbed her but as she stood up.

At that moment, she was confused when she realised she was not in the room she was yesterday. She seemed to ponder on the matter when she heard a light knock on the door.

She shifted her gaze towards the door and saw Yang lingsi standing at the door with a smile on her face.

"Lingling, how did I get here? I remember I was in the guest room yesterday"

Lingling smiled and said, "Young master brought you here last night"

Xiao li frowned. "So where is he now?"

Lingling walked in and helped her get a short nude gown from her closet. She gently placed the gown on the bed as she said, "Young master traveled to the other city. He won't be back till the next two days, so he told us to take good care of you"

Xiao li heard this and felt a wave of sadness wash over her heart out of no where. Jingyi Wang won't be back till next tomorrow, so that means she won't be seeing him.

Xiao li wondered why she felt this way. Shouldn't she be happy that he is not around?

She suddenly jolted awake when she heard Yang lingsi voice, "Young miss, you should go and bathe, so you can eat"

Xiao li nodded her head slowly as she watched Yang lingsi leave the room. Frustrated, she turned off the alarm before entering the bathroom to bathe. Once she had finished, she went to the dining area.

She sat down and today, she would be the one to serve herself. She picked up her plate and scooped porridge onto her plate.

Slowly, she ate her food. Not then, did she realise that this was the longest breakfast that she had ever eaten in her entire life
