Modern Weapon Summoning System

Chapter 29 - Cole And Women

"Hey beautiful, are you ok? Do you get hurt or something? Do you need me to take you back to the guild office?" Cole looked at Lizbeth's body while touching it, looking for anything that might result in an injury.

"KYAAAAA," Lizbeth yelled.

"Del, why the heck did this girl scream when I ask her," Cole asked Del.

"She doesn't understand you, Cole, and you don't exactly touch girls like that and expecting nothing to happen," Del said.

Del walked to Lize's place.

"Hey, are you ok? The demon didn't mean any harm," Del assured Lize.

"Thanks…" Lizbeth said.

Lizbeth was unknowingly… beautiful, or that was what Del's mind told him. Her body was slender but still proportional. Her black hair was long enough to touch her shoulder. She also gave an aura that she was indeed very shy. Still, she was definitely older than him. Maybe Cole would be more suitable for her.

"What are you doing here anyway? What a woman like you is doing in here?" Del asked.

"Ehhh, well… I…," Lizbeth stuttered because of Cole.

"C'mon, the handsome demon next to me won't even bite you," Del looked at cole, "In fact, I think he wants to have a date with you." Del winked to Cole.

"But a demon is dangerous, isn't it?" Lizbeth asked.

"C'mon, you two are perfect to be together. Heck, Cole is a great man with amazing intellectual ability. Do you want to give Cole a chance, please?" Del convinced Lizbeth.

"Sure, I… think?" Lizbeth said.

"Excellent," Del said.

There was something about a shy girl that Del knew. A shy girl could be easily convinced. Lizbeth was a shy girl or woman. They sometimes didn't have the ability to react to a fast-changing condition. It was important for Del to convince Lizbeth first before her brain would be able to react.

Besides, this kind of situation could lower Cole's demand for Darium and magical stones a bit. He could focus more on the mission if one of his demands was fulfilled. Besides, Cole liked women, right?

"You know, you two should go to a bar or something," Del said.

"I think that's a great idea, what do you think?" Lizbeth asked Cole.

Cole just gave Lizbeth that confused look that he didn't understand what Lizbeth was saying. Del needed to translate it first to Cole.

"She said whether you want to get a drink or not," Del said.

Cole replied with a nod.

"Lizbeth, do you know any establishment around here? We are a Midham resident, it's not exactly like we know a good place to drink," Del said.

"Oh, I know a good place around here. My sister always invites me there," Lizbeth said.

The trio walked to the center of the town. From there, the bar was located around six blocks to the north of the center of the town. It didn't take them a long time until they arrived at the bar itself.

The bar looked so fancy. It seemed not to be an establishment for an adventurer like Del or Cole. Could it be that Lizbeth and Lynia belong to higher strata than both of them? Well, they couldn't tell since both Lynia and Lizbeth were not dressing as fancy as Lize.

"Lizbeth, are you sure we can afford to drink here?" Del asked.

"Don't worry, I'll pay, besides, I know who owns the bar," Lizbeth said.

"Good, Cole, you follow whatever she does, alright? I'll go somewhere else," Del instructed Cole.

"Are you sure it is a good idea to leave us both? I don't even understand what this girl is saying," Cole said.

"Language isn't a barrier for love, I'll see you two tomorrow, alright?" Del winked at Cole.

"Sure, I'll take care of him," Lizbeth said.

Del was sure that leaving those two people alone would be a great idea. At worst, Lizbeth would only say that Cole was his slave and it wouldn't spark any trouble. Lizbeth wasn't exactly the type that would cause any trouble either.

Del walked away from that bar. He just felt that he would either disturb those two people or embarrass himself with his weird attitude. Del wasn't exactly a person with the best manner. He felt that he was free to do whatever he wanted.

He would just have a drink inside of the guild building with either David and Harold. His plan for this night was to have fun with Cole, but since he was having fun with Lizbeth, Del felt that disturbing them would further lengthen the relationship between him and Cole.

Del woke up from his bed. The headache began to stroke his head again.

"Damn, I must have drunk too much with David," Del held his head.

He looked at the side of his bed. It was empty. Where was Cole? Del couldn't remember the details from last night. He only remembered that he had a drinking contest with David and he somehow won it. Without Rina and his detoxification magic, Del couldn't remove the hungover.

"Where the fuck is Cole?" Del woke up from his bed with a headache.

Del headed for the bathroom. Maybe the bathroom wasn't as modern as the one in his old world, but still, it was not exactly something that was supposed to exist in middle age. Deciding the tech level in that world wasn't an easy task.

The bathroom had a flush toilet. Flush toilets only existed on Earth in the 19th century. But still, it worked and it was available albeit with the help of magical technology. The tap water inside of the bathroom worked not by pumping water from the ground, but by using magical energy.

Del took a bath in that bathroom. As he took a bath, he heard that someone opened the door. The person must be Cole. Del finished his bath and he got out of the bathroom with only a towel on his body.

Col looked strangely happy. Well, he might have something to do with Lizbeth and it was supported by the fact that he was not even sleeping in Del's bedroom. Well, good for him to be honest.

"How was last night?" Del asked smugly.

"Last night was great. In fact, more than great," Cole said.

"More than great? Did you get Lizbeth?" Del asked.

"Yup, and the extra," Cole said.

"The extra?" Del gave Cole a confused look.

"Lynia," Cole said.

Del didn't reply with a single word. He became speechless on the ability of his friend in getting a woman. Getting Lizbeth was impressive enough, but also getting Lynia? That was more than impressive.

"H-h-how?" Del asked.

"Let's say Lizbeth was so drunk and I wasn't even under the influence of alcohol. I took her to her room and I found Lynia was even drunker. After that, one thing happened after another," Cole said.

"More details, please?" Del asked.

"Well, with my spellbook in my hand and two drunk women in the room, I make sure that the situation ends up in how I want it to end even if I don't say a single word. Well, you get what I mean, right?"

"Damn, Cole, you're such a player," Del said.

"Hey, I do what I'll do in that kind of situation," Cole said.

"Do you have any girlfriend in the demonic continent?" Del asked.

"Nope, not yet," Cole said.

"I see. Anyway, you better clean yourself," Del said.

"Right, thanks for last night Del," Cole said.

"Hey, I didn't do anything. It's all on you, Cole," Del said.

Cole headed for the bathroom. Del prepared for moving out of that room. He wore his clothing then He wore his tactical rig on his body and he wore the M1 helmet on his head. He packed the clothes that he brought back into his backpack.

The thing that he left on the table was only Cole's clothes. The Kar98 was on his back, attached to his backpack. Del held his MG-42 in his hands. The 50-round magazine had been loaded into the gun itself. The gun was ready to be fired.

"Cole, I'll be waiting downstairs," Del said as he walked out of the room.

"OK!" Cole shouted from the bathroom.

Del walked downstairs. Downstairs, David and Harold were already waiting. They were dressed in their plate armor. It made Del wondered why they would be dressed in such heavy armor. The road was dangerous, but Del didn't think it would be dangerous.

"Guys, why are you wearing armors?" Del asked.

"Why are you wearing a helmet?" David asked.

"For my safety, of course," Del said.

"Good, so you know that the road between Alder and Liverley is treacherous, right?" David asked.

"I've never been to Liverley before," Del said.

"Well, since you can handle yourself against a horde of bounty hunters, I don't think you'll become our concern. We are concerned about the safety of the twins," David said.

"Oh, Lizbeth and Lynia, are they mages? They can take care of themselves, right?" Del asked.

"Sure, they can take care of themselves if their spells don't take too long to cast. In terms of close-quarter combat, they are pretty much on the lower end of the spectrum. However, against armor in medium-range combat, they are excellent," David said.

"I see. We will take our own horse anyway, I'll just put my backpack inside of the carriage," Del said.

"Excellent, now, let's wait for the others shall we?" David said.
