Mission XX: Seducing The Great Seducer

"Steve I think Jasmine is in danger. We need to call not only Jack but also the police about it," Evelyn said looking so frightened. Steve was confused since he did not overhear their conversation but he quickly dialled Jackson's line just like Evelyn wanted.

"What?" Jackson who was previously driving shouted in shock as he abruptly applied the brake to make the car come to a halt.

"Eve heard a crashing sound and it seems like she had gotten into an accident. We have not only called the police but so have we called an ambulance, as at the moment we are waiting for updates from them since we are not aware of her whereabouts," Steve said in a serious tone.

At that moment the rate at which Jackson's heart throb increased drastically. Fear masked his handsome face as bad thoughts began occupying his poor mind.

"I was on my way to her office to pick her up and since you said she was driving I am sure she must have just gotten off from work so I will check up on her on my way there," Jackson said hurriedly. Steve could sense his fears from his voice.

"I will call you when I confirm that she is safe," Jackson said before he disconnected the call and resume driving again.

Jackson drive fast but he made sure to keep his eyes on the road in search of any sign of Jasmine or her car.

After about ten minutes of driving, he came across a white car lying at a corner of the road. Recognising the plate number to be hers, Jackson hurriedly stop the car and went to check up on the car.

Judging from the damage the once beautiful car suffered from, he was certain that the collision was a major one. He carefully checked the car for any sign of Jasmine but she was nowhere to be seen.

The moment he came out of the damaged car, the ringing tone of a phone caught his attention. Without seeing the phone he recognised the ringing tone to be that of Jasmine so he quickly searched for where the sound was coming from.

He did not need to search for a long time before he saw the phone lying on top of the flower used to decorate the sides of the road.

"Why the heck is her cellphone lying here?" Jackson asked as he looked around to see whether he will get a glimpse of someone there but unfortunately, the road was very quiet and lonely.

Seeing that it was Catherine calling he answered the phone.

"Jasmine, I have called you over ten times now so why didn't you answer. You got me very worried. I almost thought you were in some sort of trouble," Catherine expressed her fears without waiting for the recipient to talk.

"This is not Jasmine but Jackson," Jackson said. He tried to sound as composed as ever.

"Judging from how you answered her cell phone I guess you both are together. I am so glad to know that she is with you. With you around her, I am certain no harm will come to her," Catherine said sounding very relieved.

"I am sure you guys must have been busy, I will call back tomorrow. Help me to tell her this," Catherine said. She disconnected the call after hearing Jackson's response.

"Catherine has a lot of things to worry about over there, I don't want to add mine to the problem she already has. Besides I am not even certain what happened here, I need to verify what happened before I raised an alarm," Jackson said before he quickly took out his cell phone from his trousers pockets and immediately dialled someone's line.

After telling him the location of the accident Jackson went ahead to pass his orders.

"I want you to call all the nearby hospitals in this area and apart from that, make sure you get all the CCTV footage available in this area. All the tasks I give you must be completed in an hour ok so get our men to work on it," Jackson ordered sternly before he approached where he parked his car.

"Ok, boss I am on it already," Max who was still in the office relayed. He waited for Jackson to disconnect the call before he got to work.

Jackson did not immediately drive away from that area him but he searched the entire vicinity for any clue that might lead him to Jasmine's whereabouts.

He was still searching when the ambulance accompanied by the police vans arrived.

He left the vicinity because he did not have the leisure to deal with the police problems.

Exactly in an hour, Max called back to give reports.

"Boss, there was no accident patients rushed to any nearby hospital at the time of the incident and neither was her name in the list of the patients," Max relayed to the disappointment of Jackson.

"And what about the CCTV footage I asked you to get?" Jackson asked firmly.

"Our men have gotten them. They called me a few minutes ago to tell me that they have copies of the CCTV footage of the entire vicinity at the time the incident happened. They must be on there to your mansion now," Max relayed feeling so relieved that he was able to complete the task at the specified time.

"I want you in my home in twenty minutes. You know they will be great consequences if you arrive even a minute late," Jackson ordered fiercely.

"But boss the normal time to cover the distance between your house and the office is thirty minutes...,"

"I don't know how you are gonna do it. You can fly all the way here if you have the ability I don't care all, I know is that I want you here in exactly twenty minutes. Your time counts now," Jackson said before he abruptly disconnected the call.

"Damn that boss of mine for always giving hard missions!" Max exclaimed before he picked up his bag, car keys and phones. He rushed downstairs afterwards.

When he reached Jackson's home he did not even wait to park his car, he rushed into the house like a mad person just because he did not want to reach a minute late.
