Lord told Jun Zishu that she didn’t have a name.

If Lord were to point out when she had first fallen in love with Jun Zishu, it would be during Jun Zishu’s first mission.

Lord had still been unaware of Jun Zishu’s existence at the time. She had simply taken on the role of Ning Qinghuan, grew up as Ning Qinghuan, and coincidentally met Jun Zishu, who had taken on the role of Jun Wan’er.

In other words, when an employee completed a certain world’s mission, said world would disappear, and a perfect copy of the world would appear. Everything in the alternate world would be the same as in the previous world, including the characters and their altered fates. However, since the characters in this world already had their fates changed in the previous world, a different division would be responsible for taking on this alternate world’s mission.

For example, in the last world Jun Zishu visited, Jun Zishu had entered the world on behalf of the Lawful Wife’s Reversal Division, and her job was to help Jian Qing get revenge on Qiu Ziqian and Bai Yuwan. Meanwhile, the next employee to take on this world’s alternate version might come from the Scumbag Transformation Division. If that were the case, he would be responsible for taking on Qiu Ziqian’s role and helping him achieve a perfect life.

“Thankfully, I appeared?”

“Thankfully, you appeared.”

Lord’s return was a matter the various division chiefs celebrated. Since Jun Zishu had become Lord’s partner, she naturally didn’t have to continue staying in the Fate Changing Division.

“Do you wish to return to your original world?” Lord asked as she stroked Jun Zishu’s long hair, combing it for her.

Everyone that came to the City of Clouds would have a sense of attachment to the world they were born and raised in. It could be a desire to return home, take revenge, etc. Lord didn’t know about Jun Zishu’s past. Although she could easily find out if she checked, she didn’t wish to pry into her lover’s privacy.

“No,” Jun Zishu said, her eyes reflecting calmness and silence. When she thought of the world she came from, not a single desire surfaced in her heart.

Jun Zishu honestly did not have any attachments to that world. To her, there was no person or object that she felt was important to her.

Familial relationship, friendship, and love. She had never experienced any of these things in her birth world. The only things that accompanied her throughout her life there were her studies and career.

“Just let them think that I died.”

“Okay.”

Lord tied up Jun Zishu’s hair and kissed Jun Zishu on the forehead, her eyes filled with love when she looked at Jun Zishu.

It went without saying that Jun Zishu was a quiet person. If she had a good book to read, she could spend the entire day without saying a word.

Lord’s original personality was a little detached. After getting together with Jun Zishu, she grew even calmer and more collected.

Their personalities made them a good match for each other. So, after returning to the City of Clouds, they spent their days living peacefully and lovingly together.

Of course, they didn’t spend all of their time staying in the City of Clouds. Occasionally, they would also take on a mission to spice things up a little.

However, no matter which division they accepted a mission from, they could always find ways to show off their love for each other.

Area 11 was the gathering place for the strangest and most suspenseful missions available. It was also the most dangerous and exciting division in the Department of Transmigration. Naturally, Lord and Jun Zishu did not exclude it from their list of places to visit.

The first world they visited through Area 11 was a world that had fused with a game world, and their mission was to defeat the boss monster of the game world. However, while others were screaming and running for their lives, the two of them were holding hands while commenting on the monsters, pointing out the loopholes of the game, and deducing the weakness of the boss monster.

The boss monster got very angry because of their behavior. However, it had mistakenly attacked them when they were sharing a hot and passionate kiss. Meanwhile, after being glared at by Lord, the boss monster died, and the mission world ended.

Afterward, they changed to a new location. They, along with a group of other people, were trapped inside a haunted mansion, and their mission was to escape from the haunted mansion alive.

While everyone was feeling scared, Lord and Jun Zishu were sitting in a corner holding hands and enjoying the atmosphere as if they were on a date.

The ghost haunting the mansion happened to die single, and he hated couples the most. Thus, he decided to possess Lord’s body.

However, Lord’s spiritual energy was too powerful. Even though she had already done her best to suppress it, the ghost still got purified the instant he came into contact with Lord.

Since the ghost had died, the mansion was naturally no longer haunted, and everyone in the mansion could leave with their lives intact. As a result, the mission had ended again in an anti-climactic way.

Jun Zishu felt that they couldn’t continue like this and that it was necessary to move to a different division. After a random draw, she coincidentally drew a division she had previously worked for—the Professional Break-up Division.

Jun Zishu’s body in this world was even more amazing than the last body she occupied in this division, the original owner dating seven people simultaneously.

Everything progressed normally initially. However, once Jun Zishu became deeply entrenched in the chaotic battlefield of love, Lord started growing jealous because of all the people clinging to Jun Zishu. Eventually, she exercised her right to violence and defeated all seven of Jun Zishu’s lovers.

After leaving that mission world, Lord decided that they would never visit that terrible division ever again. Missions in that division were incredibly tiresome, and it wasn’t suitable for dating at all.

Little Fairy had long since gotten herself a new host, transforming from a greenhorn system to a veteran system.

Jun Zishu continued living a slow and easy life with Lord, occasionally transmigrating to change things up a little and ensuring that their long life did not feel bland.

There should have been two Chinese idioms at the end, but I couldn’t think of an English equivalent for one of them. The two idioms are used to describe Jun Zishu’s and Lord’s love for each other.

In Lord’s case, the idiom used was roughly similar to “love at first sight.”

In Jun Zishu’s case, the idiom used is a modified idiom. The original idiom is used to express “repaying kindness with even greater kindness,” while the modified idiom used here expresses “repaying love with even greater love.” I can’t really think of any idiom that suits this (because I don’t really know many idioms), so if you happen to know any, please leave a comment.
