Chapter 202: Slayer.

”Here!” Azura entered the smithy with a panting face. She was holding a bag of coal.

”You didn’t need to hurry,” Ichiro said gently and took the bag.

He kissed Azura’s soft lips, which almost felt like kissing a marshmallow.

Azura instantly felt rejuvenated.

”Are you going to try blacksmithing now?” Azura’s eyes sparkled when she fantasied about the scene.

”Hmm…” Ichiro put the bag of the coal next to the forge, ”I could try.”

”Excellent.” Azura sat in the chair and sneakily took her phone from her pocket.

Ichiro poured coal on the forge and put a few pieces of paper there.

Next, he took a matchstick box from his pocket and took one from there.

*Creak*

Ichiro used his finger to light the matchstick in flames— he threw it towards the forge and perfectly in the middle of the papers.

The paper was the first one to be lit in flames— after that was the coal.

Soon, the entire interior of the forge was in flames, but the forge kept the fire inside.

Ichiro used the air supply to keep applying more oxygen so the fire wouldn’t go out.

He took his first sword and put it on the forge. He increased the heat, and soon the room was burning hot.

Azura took off her shirt, and now only her t-shirt was left.

Ichiro was also already sweating— it was much hotter than he anticipated— he took off his shirt and threw it away.

Only his black t-shirt was left, which didn’t cover his muscular arms.

*Clink*

A flash of lightning came from Azura.

Azura was holding her phone and almost drooled at sight.

Ichiro ignored the silly girl and increased the heat once again.

Soon the blade turned colors, but he needed over an hour before the blade was in golden color.

He took the blade from the forge and put it on the anvil.

The heat can almost be felt from the blade.

But, now it is the crucial part of the blacksmithing.

Ichiro grabbed the tongs and used them to hold the blade steady, then he grabbed a hammer and started hammering both sides to make the blade longer and thinner.

*Clank*

*Clank*

Ichiro’s muscles bulged as he used the hammer to hit the blade.

Sparks flew, and the sound echoed in the quiet mansion.

Sweatdrops trickled down his handsome face and muscular chest— it made the shirt uncomfortably stick to his skin.

He stopped hammering and took off his shirt.

He threw it away and wiped his sweat.

*Spurt*

Azura held her nose while blood gushed out. But, with the last remaining willpower, she managed to take a dozen pictures.

A few hours later, Ichiro looked at the blade and felt like it was as good as he could make it. Since Smith already fixed it, there isn’t much he can do about it— maybe if he makes his own weapon, it can be even better.

Ichiro put the sword on the bucket next to him, which cooled down the metal.

He let it cool down for a moment, he looked around the smith to find a towel, but then Azura came with a towel.

She smiled innocently.

Ichiro chuckled and used the towel to wipe the sweat from his body. Azura licked her lips and used all her willpower to sit back down on her chair.

Unfortunately, her phone memory is full after taking a few thousand pictures.

She debated whether she should delete a few to take a picture of Ichiro wiping his sweat off, but even removing one photo is such pain that she might not recover from.

Ichiro put the towel away and took the sword from the bucket, and put it on the anvil.

The familiar grey blade became visible. It didn’t look different than previously, but Ichiro can tell that it’s countless times better than Smith’s.

He was sure that his shaping techniques using the hammer was better than Smith’s, which made a significant difference.

Now, he has two swords, one improved by him and one made by Smith— he can test both of them out.

But before that, a messages popped up in front of him.

He looked at the other blade, which was still the same Sword of Killing.

‘Might as well improve that one as well.’

Azura’s eyes sparkled after seeing that Ichiro will continue blacksmithing.

She quickly left the room to get a camera.
