Little Miss Witch: Revenge of the Tainted Angel

Director Yao left at once, not giving Su Ling enough time to question him, as Lan Jinyao shivered next to him. 

Lan Jinyao felt her body heating up all of the sudden. A foreign sensation washed her senses, flowing down to her intimate part, making her flustered. Her cheeks flushed, her throat feeling dry. What the hell was wrong with her?! 

Why did it feel so hot all of the sudden? It wasn't possible that the air conditioners within the hotels stopped working at the same time, right? This uncomfortable burning sensation inside of her was getting worse every passing second. 

'So hot! Very hot!' She screamed inwardly. 

Lan Jinyao didn't remember feeling sick earlier and neither did she eat anything before her meeting with Director Yao. Her thought went into a halt as she realized the possibility of the director spiking her drink earlier when she wasn't paying attention. 

Damn it! She knew something was wrong when the man invited her for a late lunch under the guise of talking about her acting. Had she known that Director Yao was planning to force her to make a fool out of herself in front of so many people and spoil her reputation, she wouldn't have agreed to meet him. 

Ha! She would never give him and Lin Meirong the satisfaction of ruining her! 

The horror of what could've happened if Su Ling didn't intervene washed through her. Zheng Yue saved her unknowingly and she would be forever in her debt for her help. 

Clenching her fists on her side, Lan Jinyao followed Su Ling as they looked for Madam Li. She suppressed her need to find a man to satisfy her needs. The pain radiating from her arms forced her to stay clear headed but Su Ling's presence near her wasn't helping at all. 

He was surely a fine specimen of a man who could attract women's attention with his physique and facial features and Lan Jinyao was one of them especially in her current condition. 

Suppressing the strong need to jump on Su Ling, Lan Jinyao kept a safe distance away from him but she knew… she knew she wouldn't last long. Maybe Zheng Yue can help her again. 

Lan Jinyao pulled herself together and forced her shivering body to walk away from everyone's gaze. She could feel her body heating up more and was becoming aware of the sheen perspiration on her skin. 

When Su Ling looked around the lobby to find his Miss, he didn't see her and Song Zexi. His phone inside his coat beeped indicating a new message from Song Zexi with the room number where their Miss was. 

Su Ling led Lan Jinyao back to the elevator and pushed the button for Li Xiuying's floor. He'd noticed the unusual behavior of his companion but didn't dare to question her. Li Xiuying wanted to meet this woman and he only needed to bring Lan Jinyao to her. 

Lan Jinyao leaned on the wall, shutting her eyes closed as she tried to stay conscious of her surroundings. This wasn't the right place to pass out! Otherwise, if the effects of the drug used on her became stronger, she might not even know what could she have done later on! 

When they arrived at the hotel room, Song Zexi opened the door for them to let them inside. Lan Jinyao was expecting to meet Zheng Yue inside but she was greeted by a beautiful woman sitting at the living area, sipping her tea. 

Who was this woman? 

She looked at Su Ling and Song Zexi and saw that they were indeed bearing the mark of the Li family. Could this woman be part of the Li family? If she was what did she want from her? 

However, this wasn't the right time for her to question the said woman as her problem was becoming unbearable. She tripped on her own foot and was about to fall when Su Ling caught her just in time. His eyes widened, clearly not expecting her to collapse in Li Xiuying's presence. 

"H-help me… please. I beg you." She felt so hot and uncomfortable. She had this urge to strip her own clothes. 

"What's wrong with her?" Even Li Xiuying shot to her feet, worry was evident in her eyes as Song Zexi took the woman panting on Su Ling's arm and put Lan Jinyao on the huge bed. 

"I'm not sure, Miss Ying. She wasn't like this earlier.��� Su Ling explained to her. 

"Or it could be she's been suppressing what she was feeling." Song Zexi corrected him as she noticed the warmness on Lan Jinyao's flushed skin as if she had a slight fever. She also checked the woman's pulse and breathing. 

There were obvious nail marks on Lan Jinyao's palms. Her face was unusually red, and the sides of her face were drenched in sweat. There was really something wrong with Lan Jinyao. 

Li Xiuying stood beside the bed and peeked over her bodyguard's shoulders, wanting to see what was wrong with Lan Jinyao. 

"What do you mean? Is she sick?" She asked curiously. 

"Miss, I think Miss Lan was drugged. What should we do?" Song Zexi asked her back. 

Drugged? What did she mean Lan Jinyao was drugged? 

Her eyes widened in disbelief when she finally understood what had happened! If she'd allowed Lan Jinyao to stay any longer on Director Yao's side, Lan Jinyao would have filled the headlines by tomorrow! 

Her jaws tightened at the thought. Lin Meirong did this to Lan Jinyao.. She'd once again attempted to ruin an innocent woman.
