Journey Towards Greatness

Julian is in Fuchsia city at the pokemon center taking back his pokemons that he gave to Nurse Joy to look after his gum battle yesterday.

Julian "Thank you, Nurse Joy" ​​

Julian walks out of the center and rides away leaving the city, his next destination is Saffron city, it took Julian two days to reach Saffron city, Julian also noticed that he was being watched by something but whenever he tried to find out who is spying on him he would only find one or two wild pokemons in the surrounding but he still felt like he was being watched but the person or thing who was spying on him didn't have any malicious feeling towards him so he tried to ignore it so that it may lower its awareness so that he can find it but to his disappointment he never got even a glims of it.

Julian 'Finally I have arrived at Saffron city, and what is that thing that keeps following me but doesn't show up at all, let's just ignore it, for now, I should first go to the pokemon center then check on the gym as I don't want to face an almost mute girl and her talking doll, just thinking about it gives me the creeps'

It's very early in the morning so the pokemon center doesn't have any patients waiting so it was easy for Julian as his pokemons were brought back to their peak condition in an hour.

Julian 'Now lets head towards the gym'

As Julian walks around he sees old people walking around the park, some doing normal exercise and some sitting and talking, he didn't know what to think about this old people, once at a time he was an old man but now he has totally forgotten how it feels to be old, Julian decides to walk in the park and go to the gym afterward, as he was walking leisurely walking he suddenly see two people and four pokemon suddenly appearing before him one was wearing track pants and jacket with a duckbill can on his head he was in his middle age and the other one was a ten-year-old brat wearing a red cap and blue shirt, seeing Ash and a middle-aged man appear out of nowhere shocked him for a second but he soon calmed down because he knew what situation he was in now.

Julian 'This man is clearly Sabrina's father and a psychic user just like his daughter so he can teleport and see that Ash is with him and no sign of both Brock and Misty it means that they have been turned into dolls and these two have escaped'

Ash and Sabrina's father was also surprised because they teleported in front of someone because they were in a hurry to escape. Ash, on the other hand, was looking at Julian and went into a trance as if he is trying to remember something

Ash "Hey mister have I seen you somewhere"

He looks at Julian and trying to think where he has seen this man before, Julian was not very happy to meet Ash now as he knew meeting Ash means meeting trouble but now he couldn't do anything

Julian 'when did he see me? Ha it must be that time when he came with his mother to the lab but I chose to avoid him but he still saw me'

Ash "I saw you were taking care of some rare pokemon, I wanted to see it very badly but you were gone before I could even approach you"

Julian "Kid aren't you forgetting something"

Julian said as he pointed towards Sabrina's father, Ash turned to see that the man who helps him escape was still there and got embarrassed that he forgot such an important matter

Ash "Ah I am sorry mister I got carried away"

Sabrina's father "It's not a problem but we have to save your friends first"

Ash "Yes Sabrina's the meanest trainer I ever met"

Sabrina's father "Well she wasn't always such a mischievous girl"

Ash "You mean you knew Sabrina before she changed?"

Sabrina's father "Huh? well I heard stories, though she was very young she became completely obsessed with her physic training, she didn't want to make friends all she wanted was to be left alone and develop her powers, her parents tried to help but Sabrina used her physic powers to drive them away"

Julian just listened to their conversation as he sees Sabrina's father taking out a photo and handing it to Ash while continuing speaking

Sabrina's father "The conflict caused her to split into two different parts, one is the strong pokemon trainer who is always causing trouble and other is the lonely little girl who desperately desires to make friends, that doll that Sabrina is holding represent her true self which was before her training, before she rejected her true feelings"

Ash looks at the picture carefully

Ash "Sabrina has the same picture of her family in her room if you have the same picture then that means you are"

Sabrina's father 'Huh? does he know he must have figured it out by now after everything I have said he must have figured out the truth about Sabrina and me, he must have realized that I am Sabrina's father'

Julian who was seeing this knew what Sabrina's father was thinking and could only shake his head

Julian 'Old man the person sitting next to you is even dumber than you think don't get your hopes high'

Ash "Then that means you are a photographer"

Listening to Ash's answer Sabrina's father fell off the bench which he was sitting on, even Ash's Pikachu was disappointed in him

Julian 'He indeed is really dumb'

Ash "Sabrina has turned brock and Misty into dolls, how do we save them?"

Sabrina's father "We cannot do anything about that, the only way for you to rescue your friends is to defeat Sabrina, isn't that why you went to Lavender town to catch a ghost pokemon?"

Ash "But Haunter's disappeared someplace"

Sabrin's father "Then you have to find Haunter, or without it, you will never be able to defeat Sabrina"

He sighs in disappointment and looks down then he looks up and sees Julian with sparkling eyes

Ash "Mister will you help me finding Haunter?"

Julian 'I don't want to get involved too much in the main plot but I just want to leave this city early so I think I should help him find Haunter fast"

Julian "Ok I will help you, but stop calling me mister my name is Julian"

Ash "Thank you, Julian, my name is Ash and I am from Pallet town"

Julian "I know you are from pallet town, you said it before"

Ash "Haha, it has become a habit of mine" he gets embarrassed and scratches back of his head

Sabrina's father looks at Julian gratefully "Young man thank you for the help"

Julian just nods and follows Ash as they look for this missing Haunter, Julian knows that the Haunter is somewhere near the city so he wastes no time and takes Ash towards the city.

At the city high at the side of a building standing on a hanging platform team rocket is planning on how to catch Pikachu but suddenly they get startled by the sudden appearance of Haunter before them and they nearly fall as Jessy hold the edge of the platform at the last moment as James and Meowth are hanging holding her

Meowth "Jessy don't let go of that edge or we all will fall down"

James "Yes Jessy keep a tight grip"

Jessy "I thought that we finally got away from all of those horrible ghost pokemon but they followed us all the way here"

But to her misfortune Haunter didn't leave them as he started to make funny faces and make Jessy laugh

James "Jessy no matter what happens don't laugh"

But Jessy could not hold her laughter as her grip loosens and all of them fall down.

Julian knew about this as he has seen it before as he walks slowly in the city, team rocket just falls right before them creating a big hole on the ground before them, Ash looks inside the newly formed hole to become surprised

Ash "Its team rocket"

Julian, on the other hand, is very surprised by some other reason

Julian 'The people in this world really have a very tough body after falling from such a tall hight they only suffered scratches'

Suddenly Haunter appears before them

Ash "Haunter you stopped them from capturing Pikachu"

Haunter "Hau Hau Hau" laughs seeing team rocket in this state

Ash "Way to go, now let's get back to Sabrina's gym and save my friends, remember you promised me"

Haunter thinks for a second and nods his head agreeing to Ash, he then turns around and looks at Julian and he remembers Julian as they had a lot of fun playing with him last time, so he goes and greets Julian

Ash "Huh do you know Haunter"

Julian you can say that, we have met in the past, but first lets head back and help your friends"

Ash "Yes let's go"

So both Julian and Ash head towards the gym.
