Into the Zombie World

After making sure that everyone can no longer see him. Nile stored the backpack inside his storage space.

The three guns that he got earlier are left under the table. He no longer has a use for them so he left it secretly under it.

He did not touch the remaining low-levelled zombies. He leaves it for the group of Marlin to kill. The Level One° zombies would be dangerous to the group for now, hence Nile decided to kill them.

The low-level zombies will also 'Level Up' in the future, but when that time arrives, the group would also have their own Level One° members. They could use the Level One° zombies as their 'training partners' then.

Glancing at his current stats. Nile felt the urge to Level Up° faster. He is still far away from the threshold of 15.0 of being a Level Two° Human.

15 minutes later, Nile arrived at the next Sitio.

Not wasting any time, he searched the whole hamlet and did not find any Level One° zombie around. He found one half-step Level One° but its leg was crippled, hence the reason it could not consume the weaker Apocalypse Virus around it.

At the second hamlet, he killed 1 Level One° zombie that was so weak he could kill it with 1 smash from his sledgehammer.

Was it really the zombie who was weak, or had he gotten even stronger? Hmmm.

After 45 minutes, Nile arrived at the first hamlet that was under the jurisdiction of Compud Village, Hamlet Topong.

At Hamlet Topong, he killed 1 Level One° zombie and did not find any low-level zombies around.

At the next hamlet, Hamlet Borin, Nile did not find anything except for the bodies of the low-levelled zombies that had their heads split open. He suspected that the area already had a Level One° zombie, but it had already moved out to another location. He even suspected that it was the Level One° zombie that he killed at Hamlet Topong earlier.

Nile glanced at the magnificent Village Hall in front of him. It was bigger than the Village Hall of Malibo Village but not by much. The overall design was the same with Barangay Malibo.

Without any worry, Nile approached the Village Hall openly.

A population of a village could not birth a Level Two° Zombie, yet. Level Two° and Level Three° zombies would only appear within a Town, City or even at the District Center.

The only thing that could harm Nile right now was those zombies who had stats that are higher than him. He also needs to be wary of the crazy survivors.

Even though normal guns could not penetrate his current defense. What if there was suddenly a crazy man holding a gun with potent power suddenly appears and aims its muzzle towards him? That would birth a crazy scenario.

Though, before he could arrive at the 10 meter mark from the Village Hall, four of its windows in the front suddenly opened and with some clink clank sounds, Nile could see four metal barrels aiming on him.

Seeing this, Nile took three steps backward and raised both of his hands with the sledgehammer on it.

'What a crazy scenario!' Nile thought.

At closer look, Nile notices that they are only holding normal shotguns just like the one Hector and Romulo used.

With his 'Body' having 6.71 points of stats, coupled with his sturdy clothes, these kinds of shotgun will have little to no effect on him. At most, he would only feel some pain if he was hit directly on the skin.

Still, Nile did not want to drop his guard.

He was ready to retaliate if ever one of these four barrels of shotgun suddenly 'fired'.

Luckily, it did not happen.

Because someone suddenly emerges at the large door of the Barangay Hall.

It was a man who had a medium build and approximately 179cm in height. His age must be in his mid-thirties. He has square-shaped glasses in his eyes. He was wearing a clean white polo shirt and black semi-fit slacks.

He looks at Nile while nudging his square-shaped glasses.

"State your business or SCRAM!" The glasses man said to Nile with a condescending tone in his voice.

"I see, it's about time character's like you appear, huh." Nile said knowingly.

"What are you talki-"

The man with glasses could not continue his words as a force akin to a truck suddenly hit his stomach.

His figure flew backwards along with the sledgehammer.

Bang!*

A clamorous sound echoed as the glasses man's figure hit the wall of the Barangay Hall.

Hearing the sound. The four men holding the shotgun reacted and opened fire on Nile's location.

Four shotguns were fired consecutively.

Unfortunately for them, Nile was no longer there.

Seeing that the glasses man was about to get up from the rubbles, Nile acted immediately and appeared in front of him.

He only used enough force to knock out a normal human. He thought that he could control his strength well.

Fortunately or unfortunately, it seems that the glasses man was already a Level One° Human.

He notices that every Village Official was acting weirdly. Fortunately, his brother, one of the councilors, was also only confused, just like him.

Besides him, and his brother, there are also two others who are confused by what is happening. One of them was the Village Captain or Chief, and the other one was the servant girl of the other Councilor.

After a few minutes, they already regained their usual clarity.

But only the four of them. The other Village Officials and their servants, drivers and the other personnel of Village Hall were still acting weird.

They are all staring at something in front of them. Or perhaps they might not be staring at something in particular?

A minute after, the four of them regained their clarity. Everyone around them suddenly stood up and started acting bizarrely.

The secretary walks over and bumps her head at the wall. The Youth Chairman was walking straight towards the stairs limply without the sign of stopping.

The four of them were tongue-tied to what was happening as horror strikes their minds with these bizarre situations.

Suddenly, one of the councilors that was acting bizarrely approaches the location of the servant girl.

It horrifies the servant girl seeing the situation. She saw the Councilor's eyes. It was all white. Saliva was dripping from his mouth.

She retreated two steps back when suddenly, a crack sound was heard at her feet.

All the bizarre acting people unexpectedly stop. At the same time, all of their heads turned towards the same location.

It was the location of the servant girl.
