Chapter 607: Granny Kiyo (part 3)

Chapter 607: Granny Kiyo (part 3)

“My Lord, everything you asked for has been placed in this spatial ring. Please accept the ring as a gesture of respect from us.” The receptionist lady said, handing over a box that contained a spatial ring.

“By the way, I wish to auction a certain inscription,” Xiaoan said, taking out a small box from his sleeve that he placed on the counter.

With a glance, the receptionist lady knew that something incredible was inside. Hence, she didn’t dare open it herself, calling forth the branch manager to check it himself.

The branch manager was a lady in her early twenties, already a Spirit Master. She approached the box and opened it, closing it instantly before the aura within leaked out, expertly analysing it in the spontaneous opening.

“We’ll conduct an auction in the evening.” She said, cupping her fists in response, “Please stay in our branch as a guest until then.”

“It’s fine.” Xiaoan waved his hand, “I’ll come to collect it tonight. If I don’t arrive, just send the money to Xiaoan from the Xiao Clan. He’s my apprentice.”

Waving his hand, Xiaoan calmly walked away, all while his heart thumped loudly in tension, afraid of his cover being blown away.

Once he exited the Inscriptionist Guild branch, his master’s voice resounded in his ear, “That branch director…she’s good. She was able to glean all info about the inscription in an instant without allowing its aura to leak out.”

“I was afraid she would see through my disguise.” Xiaoan walked into a secluded alley before bolting at his full speed, collecting his disguise in the new spatial ring as he wore his original clothes.

He then slowly walked into the main road and headed towards his Clan, murmuring, “What shall I do next? The Yan Clan would definitely try their best to buy this inscription.”

“It doesn’t matter.” The voice in his ears turned a bit cold, “A mere Grade 4 Inscription is commonplace. You’ll be able to create more of them in the future.”

“A mere Grade 4 Inscription?” Xiaoan couldn’t help but refute, “Our Clan’s Mystic Beast seal is a Grade 4 Inscription. A Grade 4 Inscription is something all the Clans would kill to get their hands on.”

“Leave it, you’ll understand in the future. But first, you should begin your training as an Inscriptionist.” The voice said.

“But, wouldn’t becoming an Alchemist be better? Pills are of vital importance for cultivation, right?” Xiaoan asked, expressing his confusion.

“Yes, but you can’t practice it as a Spirit Apprentice. Only after you become a Spirit Retainer would you be able to do it. And for that, your Clan’s Mystic Beast is too weak. You’ll cap at a Spirit Grandmaster in the future.” The voice said.

“Then, what should I do?” Xiaoan asked.

“Become an Inscriptionist first.” His master’s voice said in all seriousness, “That way, once you come across a great Mystic Beast, you can inscribe its blood into yours to obtain powers of its bloodline.”

“That’s easier said than done.” Xiaoan sighed, “With my strength, facing a Mystic Beast is a death sentence.”

“No, I remember there being the blood of an Ancient Mystic Beast sealed somewhere.” His master said, “Let’s talk about that later. First things first, you must begin training to become an Inscriptionist.”

“And by the looks of it, the Yan Clan has invited an Inscriptionist expert.”

“I like this place.” Granny Kiyo smiled, appreciating the tranquil atmosphere of the place as she entered the house, staring at the arrangements that had been made.

She then took a seat and cupped her fists, “I’ll get some rest for the time being.”

“We’ll talk about the remainder of our deal in the evening, Granny Kiyo.” The middle-aged man and Yanyuan cupped their fists in response before taking their leave.

Once they left, Granny Kiyo let out a long breath of air, looking at the suitcase full of the Red Mystic Iron. She snapped her finger, watching all the contents vanish, arriving at a secluded location within the Dimensional Space.

Of course, Granny Kiyo was Gahrat. The reason she had arrived in this world was in search of valuable resources that she could fill her Dimensional Space with.

Normally, any material not part of this world would vanish once she leaves this world. But, that wouldn’t happen if said material was swallowed by Golda.

With her character splitting off from Compass Carburettor, one of the changes that happened was the fact that the laws forming her Dimensional Space became stronger, taking on the traits of the various things that had affected it.

One of them was Dota, whose body of course remained here in the first place. Of course, Dota’s figure had vanished following that as it entirely became part of the Warble that formed Domino Plottopia’s core.

But before that happened, the power of the Trait of Permanence spread throughout the Dimensional Space, mixing into the various essences and substances available here to result in a brand-new mixture.

One of the results of that was Golda’s evolution. Before, Golda was able to devour any organic matter and convert it into Mental Energy. But now, Golda was able to swallow them whole and convert them into the same substance, but one that could exist within the Dimensional Space.

What did this mean?

Just by relying on this one gimmick, Gahrat could rapidly develop her Dimensional Space into a mystical world where countless forms of powers clashed and fused in interesting ways.

Her end goal was to create a complex world that could never be invaded by Systems. Though, she had barely taken the first step in the process.

For the past six months, since she arrived in this world, Gahrat had taken on the identity of Granny Kiyo to cultivate and become an Inscriptionist. The reason she had chosen to become an Inscriptionist first was simple.

Carburettor Island!

Even though creating the Carburettor Island was only possible for Hazen, all information that it had compiled, the information regarding the people in it, and the information regarding its makeup and existence were all part of her Dimensional Space.

Meaning, this information had become one of the laws forming her Dimensional Space. Even though Carburettor Island could never appear, thanks to its information forming one of the core laws of the Dimensional Space, there resulted in a new possibility.

It was the fact that a new race could be birthed in the Dimensional Space that would have these traits, of gathering, processing, and analysing information. But, the environment in the Dimensional Space was yet to satisfy the requirements for the birth of this native race.

As to how they would be born?

Originally, there existed five Mutated Beasts in Compass Carburettor’s Dimensional Space: Golda, Vutura, Dita, Hanze, and Dota.

Dota had disappeared with Domino Plottopia, but in response, as Domino Plottopia lost her power of a Haggon, it took the place of Dota.

Therefore, there were five Mutated Beasts in the Dimensional Space now, all immortal in nature thanks to the Trait of Permanence forming them. Moreover, they had long stopped being mere Mutated Beasts, turning into Avatars instead.
