Hikari: Rise Of The Weapons Master

38 Am I Dreaming?

“This looks kinda weird…” Zack muttered as he looked at the temporary scape plan that he had formed.

By using Chastiefol, he had managed to place WolfHeart’s body on the spear in such a way that she won’t fall off it.

He then opened the camera of his watch as a hologram popped in front of her. The hologram, however, only showed the empty bathroom.

“This should work.” The boy then walked out of the ladies’ room with WolfHeart and the spear behind him.

He went to the counter and quickly ordered some take-away coffee. His order was done within a few minutes and after thanking the person at the counter, he started moving towards the exit.

‘Oh no…’ The boy’s heartbeat increased when he saw the female from Oracroft heading towards the ladies’ room with a wary expression. ‘She is going to hit Chastiefol.’

The teenager had been pretty successful in making sure that the golden spear didn’t hit anything but when the woman was about to walk through the spear, he held his breath.

However, she passed through the spear and WolfHeart as though they were made from mist and walked towards the ladies’ room.

Zack blinked with a confused expression but he exited the restaurant and quickly went to an alley before calling the Phoenix again.

The mythological bird sighed as it allowed Zack to sit on his back with WolfHeart. The only reason he had done it was because the pink-haired woman was unconscious and would not remember anything like this happening.

“Go slow this time.”

The Phoenix looked as though it wanted to say something but decided against it. He then slowly started flying towards Zack’s mansion.

The black-haired boy on the other hand was wondering what story he would tell WolfHeart once they reached his mansion.

But an idea suddenly came to his mind as he looked at the phone watch on WolfHeart’s wrist.

“Guess it’s time to start working…” The teenager sighed as he started working on the proof for his perfect bullsh*t story.

“She is not there!” The woman from Oracroft came running back to her partner who had a grim expression on his face.

Both of them knew what their bosses would do if they knew that two of the most professional bodyguards in their company were duped by an 18-year-old girl.

“Did she find out about our plans?” The man asked as they rushed out of the shop and jumped into the car.

“She knows that Zack boy who is the top player from Hikari. Maybe he managed to alert her in some way.” The woman gritted her teeth as a hologram appeared in front of them.

They had put a tracker on WolfHeart to make sure that they wouldn’t lose her but when they tried to track the pink-haired woman, they saw that the tracker was popping all over the city.

“She got us big time…” The duo exchanged a glance as the man put his foot on the accelerator and drove off to the airport.

“Guess we are going to take a vacation in Tibet and become monks.”

‘What is happening…’ Emma’s eyes slowly started opening as she looked at red feathers in front of herself. She could feel the wind gently blowing on her face and felt something cold near her waist.

If someone asked her, it felt like a cold long metal object. She turned her gaze to the right and saw… clouds.

‘Am I dreaming?’ The pink-haired woman thought as she closed her eyes and fell asleep again. Zack had been completely unaware of this as he had been working on his ‘perfect’ story.

But what he didn’t know was that Chastiefol would usually pass through most people. However, he had been able to place WolfHeart on top of the spear and the spear was currently supporting WolfHeart too.

The teenager didn’t know many things about the spear despite seeing it in action for a few years. This was because the woman that Zack had seen had never appeared in front of Ash.

As for who she was?

That was still a mystery.

[0)ᴠᴇʟ “I can’t believe I spent an hour with you in this way.” The Phoenix muttered as he and Zack were now at the top of the mansion. The black-haired boy climbed down the Phoenix and got WolfHeart down as well.

He then looked at the flaming orange bird and gave it a small bow.

“Thank you for doing all that,” Zack said in a serious tone and the bird looked as though it was smiling.

“Good luck with your ‘friend’, Zack.” He said with a wink and took off.

The black-haired boy rolled his eyes as he knew what the Phoenix had meant. After the Phoenix vanished, Zack placed WolfHeart on top of the spear before placing himself on top of it.

Even though it was extremely uncomfortable, the teenager managed to get himself and the pink-haired woman to the entrance of the hospital.

After getting her details registered and admitted in a room, Zack decided that he should return to the Doogle headquarters but unfortunately, he didn’t have any means of going there.

He was very tempted to call the Phoenix again but feared that the bird would burn him in anger was calling again and again like a life insurance agent.

‘Guess I am going to be a parry hotter movie actor for some time.’ Zack sighed as he went out of the hospital and hopped on Chastiefol.

After steadily grabbing the spear, he kicked off the ground like he had seen the movie characters do. The white-haired boy launched off from the ground at an incredibly fast speed as he zoomed through.

‘Oof…’ Zack could feel his groin area hurting while flying and he wondered how the movie characters had managed to endure such a thing. Perhaps they were wearing some kind of gear that the temporary wizard didn’t have.

After what felt like hours of suffering, Zack somehow managed to find his way to the Doogle Headquarters.

‘It’s only been an hour?!’ The teenager’s jaw dropped down as he looked at the time on his watch. He made the spear vanish and spent a few minutes walking on the roof while wondering what new explanation he would have to come up with.

Zack had, however, become a master of bullsh*tting so it wasn’t going to be that big of a problem.

Little did he know that there was a certain entity who was a grandmaster of the dao of bullsh*tting!
