Echo bat dungeon was of bats. Zack’s original goal had been to train his skills with the second form of Chastiefol but now he had something better in his mind.
The white-haired boy had used the lance many times in his previous life but he had never used it as a fighting weapon. Despite Gugnir’s pointy front half, it dealt little to no damage to enemies.
But the Gugnir in Zack’s hands was different from the one he remembered. He held it tightly in his right hand before summoning Chastiefol and making the spear float behind him.

The retractable detail of the skill meant that he could keep it equipped at all times and could use it at a moment’s notice.
However, he was not a tank so the shield was pretty useless to him.

Dungeons weren’t easy to clear singlehandedly unless you exceeded their rank. They were divided in a similar way to the weapons and started from common, uncommon, rare, epic, myth, and legendary.
The echo bat dungeon was an uncommon dungeon and the higher difficulty you choose, the greater rewards you will get. But to be safe, Zack chose Hard difficulty.
If he was able to swiftly clear the dungeon, he would think about going ahead and trying the extreme mode.

After looking at the notice, the white-haired boy began his solo dungeon clearing quest.

There was the upgraded version of the inspect skill which now showed the HP bar of some beasts.
“One thousand HP? How am I supposed to push myself against such pathetic beasts?” Zack asked himself with a confused look but if anyone had heard him, they would most possibly delete their account and sit in the corner muttering “My life is a lie…”.
The white-haired man just threw Gugnir at the bat and before the creature could do anything, it was killed.

A barrage of notifications appeared in front of Zack as his eyes widened.
‘Since when did killing monsters become this easy?’ Despite his reincarnation and fierce battles, the white-haired boy had never massacred a whole army of monsters like this.
He was now truly getting to know what the term overpowered meant.
He reached the end of the dungeon within five minutes and all he did was throw Gugnir and call it back.

He gained a shit ton of useless items that only an alchemy master could use. Other than that, he gained a skill book.
[ Echo detection: Allows the user to use their ears to detect echoes both underwater and on the ground.

After that, he reached the gate that lead to the boss battle and after entering it, he heard a loud screeching sound going through the entire room.
[ Evolved Echo Bat (level 15) (15000 HP): The echo bat leveled up to level 15 and evolved into a bigger version of itself. Is weak against the lightning element.

‘Damn it… It has echo beam.’ Zack thought while gritting his teeth as he remembered the first time he had fought a beast with this skill.
In echo beam, a beast released an ear-deafening echo that would make you disoriented and leave you in the ‘confused’ status.
It was a really dangerous move that could work on any person regardless of level. But the white-haired boy was confident in his abilities.
“Let’s see what these energy blasts can do.” He muttered and held the lance-like a machine gun. He then said the name of the skill as five continuous blue-colored blasts shot out from the tip of the lance.
Zack had almost flown back because of the recoil but he managed to maintain his footing. The bat on the other hand was not so lucky.

Within just three shots, the white-haired boy had defeated the bat and cleared the dungeon in a record-shattering time of 12 minutes.
Though he hadn’t leveled up. This was because he was approaching closer to level 30 where one of the first tests would arrive. He would need to visit the Temple of Light goddess again at that point.
And he was sure that a global-wide announcement would go out to share his achievements. But he did not worry about that.
“Maybe I should try going extreme mode now.” The white-haired boy muttered as he chose the extreme mode and re-did the dungeon.
The base level of the beasts was now raised to between 15 to 18 and the boss bat was at level 24, which was two levels higher than Zack.
Yet Gugnir shone through the extreme mode too and Zack decided to clear the dungeon on extreme mode one more time.
He managed to gain two levels from this but he was not going to check the nightmare mode alone. The cap would rise to a much higher level that the base level of normal beasts alone would be between 20 to 23 while the boss might be near level 30.
He hadn’t given any of the dungeon bosses enough time to use their special move but he had a feeling that things would be different in the nightmare mode.
‘Maybe I should come here with WolfHeart.’ The pink-haired woman wasn’t currently online and Zack was bored with the extreme level of the dungeon as well.
But what he didn’t know was that there was a storm going on the storms.

In a single hour, the petition had 4 thousand people supporting it and Zack was unaware of it. If he had heard it, he would have probably shrugged and said something like “the bottom feeders always envy those at the top”.
The only reason he knew this was because he had been one in his previous life and had struggled to survive. But now, he will make the others like that suffer.
And the number one person on this list was Ash.
“I should go and free those who are his slaves in this life.” The white-haired boy muttered before exiting the dungeon and deciding to move to where Ash was.
After all, Zack had spent so many years being trapped in Ash’s party.
He knew that Ash would most probably be at a bar where he would be selling items and stuff while leeching money off drunk people.
Yes, one could get drunk in-game and it would not affect them in the real life. In this way, anyone could enjoy drinks.
After the white-haired boy had left, a shadow-covered figure reached the dungeon and entered it to do his grinding.
Fifteen minutes later, he was back at the dungeon entrance.
“Tch, he beat me to it. Just wait and see Lin Fan, I will rise to the top spot and beat you!”
