“That looks so cool…” WolfHeart muttered as she looked at the metal spear in front of her. The golden spear was emitting a really powerful aura and she was seeing something for the first time.
Lin Fan had told her about his new weapon but she hadn’t been expecting something like this. But now that she had seen this, she wanted to battle him even more.
“Magic is prohibited but any special weapon property can be used.” Wolfheart then sent a friendly battle request and the duo started their battle.
[ Battle conditions:
– The battle will only end when either of the players forfeits or their avatar gets destroyed. Due to this being a friendly battle, no damage will be dealt to the avatars later on.
– There is no elimination and time limit. ]
The hunter immediately summoned a bow in her hands and took a battle stance. The bow was a super rare ranked bow but didn’t have a special property but this was the best thing that she could get.
‘Good thing I still have that.’ With a hideous smile on her face, she notched three arrows in the bow and aimed them towards Lin Fan.
She released the string and the arrows tore through the air towards Zack.
But the number one player just looked bored as he navigated Chastiefol with his index finger. The golden spear shot forward and crashed with the three arrows and threw them down.
He then pushed the spear in WolfHeart’s direction as she gritted her teeth.
While rolling on the ground, the hunter tried to avoid the spear but Zack was easily controlling the spear to move where ever he wanted it to go.
This was why Chastiefol was an overpowered weapon. It could literally go ahead and destroy any person while the user did nothing except controlling the spear with his fingers.
And sometimes, the fights became too boring.
“You should pay attention to your surroundings too you know!” WolfHeart shouted while battling the spear as she raised two of her fingers to her mouth and whistled.
Zack immediately summoned Firerager and the Shield of the Protector as he heard the howls of the wolves rising from the corner.
He turned around to see a pack of eight wolves standing in front of him and every one of them looked hungry.

Zack could have probably guessed that the wolves were ice wolves from their fur but he had a feeling that it was all a trick.
‘WolfHeart knows that I have Firerager and can use the fire element. This means that this is all just a trick.’ He immediately created two fire tornadoes and launched them at the ice wolves.
He then turned to WolfHeart who gave him a grin and muttered something. The arrows that Chastiefol and dropped on the ground started glowing as Zack raised his eyebrows in surprise.
“Spirit spear Chastiefol, Second form, Daggers of Sky.” He said in a calm tone as the spirit spear turned into hundreds of daggers.
There were a total of 150 daggers that were floating in front of WolfHeart and Zack could control all of them on command.
He put the shield and the sword in the inventory and instead summoned three daggers in his direction.
He used them to pick up the three arrows while the rest of them made sure that WolfHeart didn’t escape.
[0)ᴠᴇʟ He had been toying with WolfHeart the entire time and had been waiting for her to show some kind of special skill.
Now that he had seen it, it was time for him to show what he could do.
He made the daggers pick up the arrows and take them back towards WolfHeart.
“Spirit Spear Chastiefol, First Form, Chastiefol.”
All the daggers combined together and formed the spear. The three arrows then dropped near WolfHeart as the spear knocked her off her feet.
“You have been defeated by your own move,” Zack spoke as the arrows exploded.

After the battle ended, Zack helped her in practicing her skills while also helping her in training the wolves a little while also making her shoot at him while he moved.
And time passed by in this manner.

Two weeks later.
The two siblings were watching the news with smiles.
“And with that, it’s time for the global prize ceremony. The players at the top are here in front of your screen!” The news anchor said in a cheerful voice as a rankings panel popped up beside her.

“I booked operation for tomorrow,” Zack said with a grin as he looked at Mia’s joyful face. His sister hugged him tightly and didn’t say anything.
Her actions were more than enough.
One of the major reasons Zack had gone for the expensive operation was because it had a 100% rate of cure.
But the machine that was used required a rare material to power it up and that is why the price was extremely high.
But now that he had the money, everything would go well.
“Don’t you have a function to attend?” Mia asked while raising her eyebrows as Zack nodded.
“Evangeline told me that she will come and pick me up whenever the competition would start,” The teenager then stood up and stretched his body. “I have already read the contract and in a few hours, I’ll be a millionaire.”
“Buy me a million dollar necklace than.”
The two siblings smiled at Mia’s joke before Zack decided to get ready for the function. He went to his room and saw the suit lying on his bed.
It was a luxurious black-colored suit with a white shirt and had been specifically made for Zack by Evangeline’s personal clothes designer.
After wearing it, Zack looked at himself in the mirror.
Though he didn’t want to brag, Zack looked like a model no matter what clothes he wore. He could most probably make a torn T-shirt and jeans look fashionable.
But when he wore the clothes specifically made for him, he looked even more handsome.
‘I wonder if I will get some admirers.’ He thought with a smile before he walked towards the entrance of the mansion.
His sister gave him two big thumbs up as he went outside the house and sat near the pool.
And that’s when his gaze fell on Chastiefol floating in the water.
“The fuck…” He rubbed his eyes and pinched his face thrice to make sure it was real. But the spear had shadows and it was creating ripples while floating in the water.
Zack bent down to pick up the spear but was suddenly interrupted.
“You are not thinking of jumping in the water, are you?” He turned around to see Evangeline looking at him with a curious look.
“I just wanted to see my handsome reflection in the water.” He said the first explanation that came to his mind.
The red-haired girl snorted though she had to admit that Zack indeed looked good.
“Then let’s go, handsome.” She said with a wink as the two of them walked out of the mansion.
