[0)ᴠᴇʟ “Huh?” WolfHeart looked as though someone had just taken the last piece of pie in front of her face. But her reaction was expected.

“In case you forgot, guilds haven’t been introduced in the game till now. This isn’t working because of that reason. You will have to wait till the rewards have been given to the top players.”

“Awwww.” WolfHeart pouted since she had expected to get the guild set up quickly and earn money.

But her plans had to be put on hold for some time but by then, she would get to know Lin Fan better. And during this time, she would also form some strategies with him.

“Then we should be returning pretty soon.” WolfHeart started tapping her right foot on the ground as the duo waited for another portal to appear.

It happened a few minutes later but a few seconds later, a person stepped out of the portal and Zack’s eyes narrowed down.

The person was none other than Elyon who was now level 15, the same level WolfHeart was on. Zack and the shadow-covered man exchanged a glance before the former walked towards the portal.

WolfHeart could feel the tension in the air as she realized that the mysterious person in front of him was none other than the player who was tied with her for the second position.

She looked at him for a long time before following Lin Fan and moving towards the portal.

WolfHeart entered the portal first however, Zack continued to stare at Elyon.

[ Dragon’s egg (Myth~Legendary): Any type of dragon might hatch from this thing and the dragon would be related to a certain myth.

Zack saw Elyon pick the egg before it vanished and went to his inventory. He then turned around and entered the portal to get out of the weapons choosing section.

The dragon’s egg was like a gacha pull. You could hatch a dragon which could either be myth rank or legendary rank. The chances of it being a legendary rank were 1 in 10000. However, the real power of the dragon would come from the myth attached to it.

If the dragon had a good myth surrounding it, it would grow up to be an even stronger dragon. The highest obtainable dragon would be Tianlong, who in Chinese myths, guarded the gates of heaven.

He was also called the celestial dragon and because of the myth attached to it, the dragon was a really powerful being. Another powerful being was Kampe, who in the greek mythology, was the guard in Tartarus in charge of looking over the Cyclopes and the Hundred-Handed ones.

She was technically a half-dragon and was also a very strong dragon in the myths.

However, there were chances that the dragon from the egg would be just a normal dragon so there were no worries regarding that.

After exiting the place, Zack stepped out in the city of Klonstad.

[ Looks like we were sent back to our original places. ] WolfHeart sent a private message to Zack. He sent ‘yes’ back in reply and decided to quickly use the world seed.

In order to use the powers of the world quest, one had to complete a special quest that had appeared in their inbox. The quest was a chain quest and after each quest was completed, the person would receive the steps to utilize the power of the world tree’s seed.

After since Zack had been Ash’s slave in his previous life, he already knew all the steps that the latter had done.

He then left the inn and traveled towards Acidlent. After going a little deep into the forest, he dug a small hole in the ground and placed the seed inside it.

He then took a small pocket dagger out of his inventory and cut his index finger with it. He felt a small sting as he bent down and started pouring his blood over the seed.

The game developers had designed Hikari in such a way that a person would feel about 1% to 5% of the pain caused by any attack.

The pain limit could be set between this in the settings and most of the players played at 1%. Only masochists chose the 5% limit and Zack was not one of them.

After a few minutes, the seed and the small hole was full of Zack’s blood. He then covered the cut with a small cloth and after a few seconds, the cut closed up on its own.

He pointed his index finger towards the seed.

“Lightning sparks.” Purple lightning moved out of his index finger and directly hit the seed.

“Earthquake.” He said again and a small 2.3 magnitude earthquake happened. However, the entirety of the energy was sucked by the seed.

Zack then took out Firerager and summoned the fire property of the sword. Then from the front of the blood, he dropped a small amount of the flames directly onto the seed.

The fire was also sucked by the blood-covered seed as Zack put the sword back into his inventory.

He then bent down towards the hole and breathed out. After staring at the seed for a few seconds, the mage stood up and took a deep breath.

“O the great world tree! You have supported two races alone and this seed is your last remaining gift to the world in case it was ever in danger. I, Zack, have gone through the trials to obtain your gift. May the stars bless me and the green light returns.”

The moment the last word escaped his mouth, the seed started glowing. The blood moved inside the small green seed and it slowly started to change golden in color.

Vines shot out from its body and raged around the entire place. But after that, the seed’s glow started to dim.

“You… You are backed by… him… You don’t belong… in this place…” A soft voice suddenly entered Zack’s ears as he frowned.

‘This didn’t happen to Ash.” The teenager thought again as the voice continued to speak.

“I have a… good feeling about… you…” The voice sounded as though it belonged to a woman who was trying hard to speak.

Yet, it was the sweetest voice he had heard.

“Go on… take it…” The voice said again as a blinding flash of light went out from the seed. Zack was blinded out by the flash but when his sight returned, he saw a spear hovering in front of him.

The back of the spear was golden and royal green in color while the blade was silver. The entire thing was radiating an aura of immense power.

Zack took a deep breath as the spear slowly started descending. In a matter of seconds, it was hovering directly in front of him.

Staring at the golden handle, the teenager’s right hand went forward and grabbed the spear.

“Good luck little one And remember, the man behind you can destroy time yet, he is shackled by his own past.” This time, the voice spoke as clear as day. “And whether you want it or not, you are the protector of the world tree now.”

The vines started vanishing and in the middle of the vines, Zack saw the fading image of a beautiful woman in a green dress.

And a few seconds later, he was knocked unconscious.
