Her Husband is My Lover

"What?" Edward asked!

"Yes, Dad!" Rose answered!

"When did she tell you that Valentina likes Xavier?" Edward asked.

"In high school!" Rose answered making Edward laugh out loud. Rose frowned looking at him laughing out loud. 

"Dad... Stop laughing!" Rose said.

"Oh, my cute daughter!" Edward said as he hugged her.

"Huh?" Rose asked with confusion.

"Valentina told you that she likes Xavier in high school?" Edward asked and Rose nodded her head in Yes.

"Yes. She told me that she likes Xavier in high school!" Rose answered.

"And are you sure that she still likes him?" Edward asked and Rose frowned but nodded her head.

"Yes..." Rose answered.

"Are you really sure?" Edward asked.

"Well... She might... Right?" Rose asked and Edward nodded his head.

"Right!" Edward answered making Rose frown.

"Dad... You are confusing me! Please be clear!" Rose said and Edward chuckled.

"Well... We still aren't sure of anything yet! We just think that she might still like him. So, we need to know that if she still likes him or not!" Edward replied making Rose sigh.

"Whatever! I don't care about her much now... But you still didn't answer my question!" Rose said.

"What question, Love?" Edward asked.

"What do you think of what Valentina said?" Rose asked.

"What is there to think about it still?" Edward asked.

"Dad, please..." Rose said.

"Alright!" Edward replied.

"Well... As you said, Valentina liked Xavier but as we are not sure if she still likes him or not! So, We need you to know about this first but I think, from whatever, Valentina said... She might still like Xavier and giving heads up to you indirectly that she will make Xavier hers or just playing around with you!" Edward said.

"But the high chances are that she might still like him right?" Rose asked.

"There are!" Edward answered making Rose sigh.

"But..." Edward said making Rose look at her with her eyebrows raised.

"But what?" Rose asked.

"But... She still didn't take any step to make Xavier hers." Edward answered.

"So?" Rose asked.

"She might have to take her time to make Xavier hers or else... She is just trying to freak you out!" Edward answered.

"But..  She will never say something like that in front of the whole family? She knows the consequences of telling it before the family but no one really cared about it there!" Rose said.

"No one?" Edward asked.

"None!" Rose answered.

"Neither Xavier?" Edward asked and Rose shook her head in No.

"No, he didn't! I did even see him talking to her last night! They meet each other eyes but they didn't talk much as best friends!" Rose answered.

"So... Xavier didn't talk about it with you even after they left or you didn't try to ask him about her?" Edward asked and Rose looked away.

"No... I didn't ask him neither he talked about it!" Rose answered making Edward raise his eyebrows.

"You are keeping something away from me?" Edward asked and Rose looked at him.

"Huh?" Rose asked.

"I know you at bothering about something else too. What is it, love?" Edward asked and Rose frowned?

"I know you so well than anyone! Just ask me what it is?" Edward asked.

"Dad, do you know Jason Aniston?" Rose asked making Edward frown.

"Yeah... I know him! I have met him a few times at some parties. What about him?" Edward asked.

"What do you think about him?" Rose asked making Edward frowned.

"Well... I know that he is a competitor of Valentina but also a close friend of hers right?" Edward asked and Rose nodded her head.

"Yes. He came to the Dinner yesterday with Valentina!" Rose answered making Edward frown.

"What?" Edward asked.

"Yeah...  He came to dinner with her last night!" Rose answered.

"Ohh... I guess they are so close then!" Edward replied.

"Yeah... Do you have any idea about his background?" Rose asked and Edward shrugged.

"I don't! I heard he is self-made!" Edward answered.

"Yeah... I heard the same but last night, As we are talking, Valentina said that he is richer than Avalanzo... His background is way bigger than Avalanzo!" Rose replied.

"What?" Edward asked and Rose nodded her head in yes.

"No... I don't know anything about this! Neither there is any tabloid or article about him or his family in any news or media! He doesn't talk much about his family!" Edward said and Rose shrugged. 

"Alright! I will gather information about this. Don't worry!" Edward said and Rose nodded her head.

"Alright, Dad... See you soon then!" Rose said as she got up from the couch.

"See you, Love!" Edward replied as he got up from the couch and kissed Rose's forehead. 

"I love you." Edward said.

"I love you too, Dad!" Rose replied with a smile and they both laughed for the last time before Rose walks out of the office.
