Game Lord's Cultivation System

22 Sword Formation

When Jiang Ming headed toward the entrance, he was surprised to see so many different people waiting.

‘What a blunder,’ Jiang Ming cursed inwardly as he never expected the system would deliver the essence flame in such a fashion.

He may be confident about his ability but currently, he only has the knowledge of cultivation and not the power yet.

“Hong Ling, do you recognize any of them?” Jiang Ming whispered secretly to Hong Ling, hoping to gather some intel regarding these people.

Hong Ling glanced at the group of people before nodding her head.

“Yes, over there with the blue clothes, a middle-aged man is called Chen Peizhi from the Chen family, and standing next to him is called Duan Ping from the Duan family.” Hong Ling said.

“Chen Peizhi and Duan Ping huh?” Jiang Ming mumbled softly as he tried to go through his memories to see if he had any recollection of these names from the former Jiang Ming.

Alas, none of his memory seemed to contain things regarding Chen Peizhi and Duan Ping.

“What family are they from and what do they do?” Jiang Ming decided to ask Hong Ling after failing to find any connection..

Hong Ling nodded her head.

“Chen Peizhi is known for his merchant business and connection with other noble families. Meanwhile, Duan Ping is known for his strength and some friendly relationship with the instructors of the academy that maste- Jiang Ming attends to.”

Jiang Ming became dumbfounded as he should have memories about Duan Ping if he has some relationship with the instructor in his academy.

Jiang Ming soon shrugged his shoulders as all would be answered when he met them directly.

Sometime later, Jiang Ming showed himself in front of the group as he asked, “Why is everyone crowding in my entrance? Don’t you know this is private property now or do you all wish to greet your new neighbors?”

“Hmph, what is a brat like you doing here? Tell the owner himself to come out and greet us,” Chen Peizhi shouted as he ordered Jaing Ming.

In his mind, he believed Jiang Ming was some servant and had no qualification to talk with him, who was a reputed man.

“You should calm your anger first and be more polite. After all, we are the one intruding without notice,” Duan Ping suddenly said as he apologized to Jiang Ming for Chen Peizhi’s action.

Jiang Ming smiled briefly at Duan Ping for his smart conduct, unlike someone who could only bark without knowing anything.

“I’m the owner of this recently purchased house and I would appreciate it if you are not here to greet me as a neighbor but are here to bark then please, do me a favor and get the hell out.” Jiang Ming then said.

Chen Peizhi flushed in embarrassment when he realized Jiang Ming was talking about him barking like a dog.

“What did you just say brat?” Chen Peizhi cursed as he tried to break the gate open.

Now that he knows the owner isn’t someone influential but some stinky brat, Chen Peizhi has no intention of playing nice and would directly thrash him before investigating the mystery light.

Jiang Ming narrowed his eyes as he noticed Chen Peizhi’s action.

“When a dog could only bark and not have eyes… It’s just a sad life.” Jiang Ming shrugged as he allowed Chen Peizhi to try to break the gate.

BAM!

Chen Peizhi’s attempt to break the gate shocked the other people as they realized the gate remained unscathed despite Chen Peizhi using his full strength.

“What the-“

Chen Peizhi yelped in surprise as he was the one that knew he held nothing back in wreaking havoc.

Suddenly, from above the sky, the group of people noticed three swords firing at them, or more specifically, at Chen Peizhi.

Chen Peizhi gasped in horror as he exclaimed, “A-A sword formation.”

As a merchant, he has dealt with many formations before and with just a glance, Chen Peizhi knew this sword formation was at the Spiritual Lord level, something that not even money can buy.

“Don’t you know it’s rude to attack a person’s house without any reason?” Jiang Ming wrapped his arm around Hong Ling’s shoulder as he smiled at Chen Peizhi.

‘I want to see just how you can deal with my sword formation. Although it’s a bit weak, for the likes of you, it’s more than enough.’ Jiang Ming sneered inwardly as he waited for the show to begin.

Chen Peizhi widened his eyes in horror as he quickly unleashed his aura as he deflected the first sword that was coming for him.

However, as soon as he deflected the first sword, he noticed two more swords launching at him simultaneously.

“Fang Strike”

Chen Peizhi uttered as he used his martial technique to block off the two swords.

The two swords were blocked but the impact of it caused Chen Peizhi to take 15 steps back as he coughed multiple times.

“Chen Peizhi is struggling.”

“Just what kind of formation is inlay in this house?”

The other people that came with Chen Peizhi and Duan Ping were in disbelief as they all looked at Jiang Ming.

They were wondering about who he was to be able to have such a powerful formation.

Meanwhile, Chen Peizhi barely catches a breath before realizing that the three swords were once again suspended in mid-air, ready to attack him.

Chen Pezihi gasped in horror as he quickly screamed, “Y-Young master, I was wrong for my impulsive action. Please be benevolent and forgive my actions.”

Chen Peizhi knew he had messed up big time and had to beg for forgiveness otherwise, he feared that his life would be over.

“If you ask for forgiveness and I have to forgive you then wouldn’t everyone just come to my house and try to do the same thing as you.” Jiang Ming scoffed as he wasn’t a benevolent person at all.

Chen Peizhi paled as he noticed the swords were rapidly firing toward him and he no longer had the energy to deflect them.

“I-I will pay for my mistake young master,” Chen Peizhi then said as he knelt down.
