Game Lord's Cultivation System

“Heh, 1 million spirit stones sound much more reasonable than the previous price, Old Wang,” Jiang Ming chuckled softly as he glanced at Hong Ling.

Hong Ling nodded in understanding as she retrieved the gold card to Old Wang for payment.

Old Wang took a few moments to complete the transaction with a bitter smile.

‘Sigh, just where did this monster come from? I keep feeling exposed in front of him and now my bonus is even gone because of this price,’ Old Wang sighed inwardly as he bid farewell to Jiang Ming and Hong Ling.

Old Wang did not want to stay any further in this house because he was afraid.

Afraid of something that is even worse than Jiang Ming in his opinion as he left quickly.

Meanwhile, Hong Ling was dumbfounded by the speed of his exit and turned around to look at Jiang Ming who was calmly smiling.

“Why is Old Wang running away this quickly?” Hong Ling asked softly as she believed Jiang Ming had an answer.

Jiang Ming didn’t answer her as he entered inside to look for a bedroom..

Heading upstairs, Jiang Ming slowly places Madam Yang onto the bed as he covers her with a blanket.

“Don’t worry aunt, now that I got the system from Cultivation Omega, curing you is no longer a problem at all even with my low cultivation base.” Jiang Ming mumbled softly as he caressed Madam Yang’s face gently.

Afterward, he stood up from the bed and glared at the ceiling with a solemn expression.

“Don’t you know it’s rude to spy on someone sleeping… especially when you’re not close to the person at all?”

Jiang Ming suddenly shouted, causing Hong Ling who was standing outside the room to wonder if he was talking about her.

“Maste- Jiang Ming, I-I didn’t spy on Madam Yang’s sleeping at all,” Hong Ling stuttered as she quickly explains her innocence.

Jiang Ming twitched his mouth slightly since he wasn’t even talking about her.

‘Hong Ling is too sensitive… I should probably lecture her sometime later.’ Jiang Ming exclaimed inwardly before returning his focus back to the ceiling.

However, there was still no reaction so Jiang Ming sneered inwardly. ‘I have tried to chat with you peacefully in a mature manner but you wanted it the hard way.’

[Mystic Gaze]

Jiang Ming activated his Mystic Gaze at the ceiling and instantly, the ceiling started to tremble slightly and a transparent figure could be seen slowly as it dropped down on the ground.

The transparent figure was unable to move as the Mystic Gaze was still active on it and Jiang Ming watched it with a calm expression.

“P-Please forgive me~,” An enchanting female voice echoed from the transparent figure as it pleaded for mercy.

“I have tried to communicate with you previously,” Jiang Ming said slowly as he sat on the bed and continued, “However, since you wasted some of my time and made me use a technique, a little punishment must be done to inform you to never act haughty again.”

The transparent figure could only feel a gruesome amount of pain for the next few minutes before Jiang Ming deactivated his Mystic Gaze.

Jiang Ming chuckled softly at the system notification as he couldn’t imagine it would be this easy to complete some mission without doing much.

Meanwhile, the transparent figure slowly transformed into a beauty but Jiang Ming knew it was just an appearance without any physical body.

The transparent beauty didn’t dare to act haughty as she felt the prowess that Jiang Ming was capable of doing so she knelt down.

“I-I didn’t mean to be rude nor disrespect you… sir,” The beauty said slowly with a bit of fear in her emotion.

“Call me Jiang Ming from now on and I’ve never expected to meet a house spirit.” Jiang Ming exclaimed and continued, “What’s your name before you became a house spirit?”

“Replying to J-Jiang Ming… my name is X-Xue Daiyu,” The transparent beauty who was known as Xue Daiyu replied quickly.

‘Xue Daiyu… which means black jade huh,’ Jiang Ming exclaimed inwardly as he nodded his head.

“Then Xue Daiyu, why don’t you tell me your story on becoming a house spirit.” Jiang Ming said and Xue Daiyu trembled in fear when she was asked about this sensitive question.

Hong Ling, who was able to hear everything, was confused about why Jiang Ming would ask this kind of question.

However, Jiang Ming has no intention of explaining things to her since a house spirit was an extremely rare occurrence where one in a million people could become one.

The system notification appeared suddenly and Jiang Ming glanced at the notification with a disbelief expression.

He wasn’t ignorant to not know about the house spirit yet it seemed like the system doesn’t know about that and decided to inform him.

“Cough, Hong Ling, you may leave the room since it’s clear that Xue Daiyu prefers to have fewer people know about her past,” Jiang Ming cleared his throat slightly and ordered Hong Ling to leave.

Hong Ling didn’t dare to disobey as she bowed slightly before leaving the room.

Once Hong Ling left the room, Jiang Ming made sure Madam Yang was still deeply asleep as he cast a barrier around them to prevent any sound from leaving.

Afterward, Jiang Ming glanced at the cold-looking beauty, Xue Daiyu with a calm expression.

“You can begin your story now and depending on my mood, I might just be able to help you get revenge and even… help you reborn as a new person.”

Jiang Ming crossed his leg and smiled briefly at the shocked expression of Xue Daiyu.
