Cen Pan returned to her rented apartment.

It was an ordinary one-bedroom apartment with a surface area of about thirty to forty square meters. There was only a bed and a desk. The door was separated by a five-square-meter cubicle as the kitchen and a bathroom.

The tiny apartment was the only place she could relax.

There were family photos on the table. Cen Pan washed some fruits and arranged them one by one.

She lit up the incense again and inserted it into the incense burner in front of Grandma’s photo.

“Thank you, Grandma.”

Whether it was to “give business” to her or to give her a reminder and tell her about the doctor’s death, it had been a big help.

Grandma’s eyes seemed to be filled with warmth amidst the smoke.

After paying her respects, Cen Pan threw her bag on the table and threw herself heavily onto the bed while covering her face with the blanket. Exhaustion and drowsiness overwhelmed her, and her eyes closed as she quickly fell asleep.

It was hot as if she was being thrown into a furnace. The man on top of her held her tightly.

She moaned weakly with her body drenched in sweat. Her legs were separated and she unconsciously wrapped her arms around his waist.

The next second, the thick and swollen object pierced deep into her muddy stamen.

“Ah!”

Cen Pan screamed. The stimulation that penetrated deep into her soul made her tremble all over. She wanted to push him away, but she didn’t have the strength. Her legs swayed left and right with his crazy thrusts.

The man suddenly lowered his head and sucked on the cherry blossom on her chest.

Cen Pan finally opened her eyes and saw his face clearly.

It was that man!

Seeming to have noticed her shock, the man smiled evilly. His movements became more forceful and intense.

Cen Pan no longer had the energy to think carefully and fainted along with his actions.

“Pan Pan, wake up.”

She heard her grandmother’s kind voice. She opened her eyes groggily and met her grandmother’s smiling face.

“Grandma.” She rushed over excitedly and threw herself into her arms. However, it felt surreal.

Cen Pan’s heart was filled with anguish and her nose was extremely sour. She hugged her grandma tightly and had long forgotten about her erotic dream.

“Don’t go, Grandma. I miss you guys.”

“Pan Pan, be good. You’re already a big girl, so how can you still cry?”

Cen Pan was startled when she heard her father’s familiar voice. She looked up and saw him standing beside her while smiling at her. Beside him were her grandfather and mother.

Their bodies were ethereal, and behind them was boundless darkness.

Cen Pan ignored everything else and ran into her father’s arms again.

Her father ruffled her hair and said softly, “Remember to bring your rain gear with you when you go to work tomorrow. You’re too weak to get caught in the rain. You’ll get sick.”

Rain gear?

Cen Pan agreed dubiously.

Grandpa walked over and held her hand. His gaze was gentle and loving.

“My dear granddaughter, you’re not alone. Your destined husband is coming to look for you. Remember to listen to him. Otherwise, you’ll face a calamity that you can’t avoid.”

Cen Pan burst into laughter when she saw her grandfather nagging.

“Grandpa, you’re trying to scare again. I’m not a child anymore.”

She was not a seven-year-old child, so she would not scream in fear because of her grandfather’s ghost stories.

Thinking of this, Cen Pan felt a little sad.

“I wasn’t trying to scare you.”

Grampa seemed indignant and pulled out a photograph, as if by magic, before shoving it into her hand.

“Remember his face. Don’t let go when you see him.”

There was a handsome man in the photo. His eyebrows were bold. His nose bridge was high and his eyes were deep-set. His straight eyebrows and soulful eyes were exceptionally attractive. Coupled with a pair of almond-shaped eyes, just looking at him made one swoon.

Cen Pan froze completely.

Wasn’t this the male lead of her erotic dream, her boss—Ye Xiao, the CEO of City A’s largest corporation?

“Grandpa, I don’t want him to be my husband.”

She shook her head furiously as if her hand had been scalded. She stuffed the photo back to her grandfather.

It was rumored that Ye Xiao was a perverted and cruel person. When he was overseas, he even slept with the Ye Corporation’s employees.

The employee went missing after that. It was rumored that this employee was killed by Ye Xiao!

She would rather die now than marry him!
