Stein reported as Zhang Qin Feng firmly stepped into the apocalypse. He's currently back to the street where he was a few days ago.
'Stein, scan my surrounding if there's anything valuable for me to bring back to my own world. Also, make a checklist of what we found around here. I can come back later for them when I need it.' said Zhang Qin Feng as he lightly made his way into the abandoned house across the street.
[Understood]
Stein gave a simple reply and remained quiet.
It was a neighborhood of around twelve houses here. With one villa is done, there were eleven to go.
Gated and fenced, it should be fine to assume that the number of zombies wandering here is less when comparing to busier places like the town center.
Taking a better look around this place, Zhang Qin Feng started to notice the differences between this world and his. Although the surrounding, decoration, trees, and building were about the same concept, there were also some differences in their day-to-day products.
The newspaper littered on the ground seems to be made from a degradable material after mixing with some solution. The littering can along the road were also made with a special resin that could resist the concept of aging.
Even the vehicles that were made from metal still remained pristine after twenty years.
Gently pushing the gate into the second villa across the one he came from, Zhang Qin Feng patiently inspects his surrounding before recklessly charging inside. He also placed something between the gate to prevent more zombies from coming into the vicinity.
**Dok! Dok!**
There was a knock from the glass door leading into the villa's living hall. Turning around and pointing his Phalanx X-02 to where the sound came from, Zhang Qin Feng noticed two zombies struggling to come out.
'Huh...' Zhang Qin Feng breathes using the breathing technique modified by Stein to calm himself. After the first two experiences previously, his mentality is much better now when encountering the zombies.
[The glass window was made using quality material. Unless the user helped them, it shouldn't be a problem for the glass panel to hold them inside]
Stein said. It was accurate because no matter how hard the zombie is slapping at the glass panel, not even a crack can be seen. But his concern wasn't at how long can the glass keep the zombies from coming out.
His concern was the noise created by the zombie slapping at the panel. Soon, his worries surfaced as two zombies turned up from the first-floor balcony, right above the living hall.

Stein's reminder came.
It takes less than ten seconds for the two zombies to fall down from the first floor and came back on their feet as soon as they landed. One of the zombies was even faster as it comes at Zhang Qin Feng at a hasty pace.
(Bip!)
A shot was fired at the zombie's shoulder to disturb its movement. Then, Zhang Qin Feng approached the zombie by standing on the back and fired another shot accurately into the head.
As the second zombie struggles to stand up after breaking one of its legs, it ended up as a free kill to Zhang Qin Feng as he grabbed an iron pole nearby and delivered a blow on the head.
'Absorb,' Zhang Qin Feng said. A flash of light scanned the two corpses and turned them into two dried mummies.

Stein absorbed the material automatically before answering Zhang Qin Feng.

'Then... Let's follow your suggestion. And activates the Luna II again to check my perimeters." Zhang Qing Feng said. Slowly distancing himself from the villa with two zombies slapping at the glass window, he hides and awaits the reply from Stein.

'Still six more?' Zhang Qin Feng pressed a button near to his thumb and released the magazine from his Phalanx X-02. After adding three more bullets into the mag, he clicked them back and returned to the living hall.
Relying on the glass panel that separates him and the two zombies apart, Zhang Qin Feng aimed his crosshair at the head of the zombie before he fired two shots. The first one works like a wonder as it created a hole in the sturdy glass panel, and the second bullet went through the zombie's head smoothly.
He repeated the same action on the second zombie. After making sure there's no other target coming close to him, Zhang Qin Feng gently opened the door into the living hall and started to salvage for resources.
One of the little things on the trinket shelf attracted his attention as Zhang Qin Feng went over there to take a look.

Stein said.
'Really? Shall we continue?' Zhang Qin Feng smiled as he pointed his gun at the two dead zombies on the ground.
'Stein, absorb the resources.' Zhang Qin Feng said.

Suddenly, a wailing sound can be heard. Additionally, the gate outside also made a creaking sound as it was forced open.
[Intruder alert! Zombie Alert! Practice caution!]
Three red signals appeared in his head. Then, it followed with the sound of something walking down from the stairs. From the sound of its footsteps, it was something huge.

A reminder for my fellow readers. To those that were used to my novel and the way I write my book, I believe the fact I am a patient suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is well known to you all. This makes me take a longer time than other writers to complete their chapter. Furthermore, suffering this equally made me harder to concentrate on what I am doing, hence the delay in updates because I felt that the WPC #166 is rigged by a bunch of cheaters creating alternate accounts to vote for themselves in order to get good results in their book.
