Chapter 41 – Papa, please wait a moment

“Darn Green Beans! How could you reveal my secret! I will not forgive you!” The crow angrily roared at that green parrot .

“You are not allowed to call me Green Beans!” The parrot was unhappy, and pointed at the location below the cage, “And, your clothes had dropped . ”

The crow looked down and saw a leaf gently drifting downwards .

“Aiya!” Its eyes immediately widen in surprise, and use its featherless wings to cover its body, “Please, can you help me pick up my clothes?”

“Hehehe… . ” Amy laughed at this sight . She picked up at the leaf and smiled, “Charcoal Black, right now your clothes are in my hands . If you were to be obedient in future, I will return it to you . If not, I will take it away . ”

“The King… The King… . . ” Charcoal Black looked at Amy in dismay . Suddenly, a gust of cold wind blew, and it shivered . It stares at the leaf in Amy’s hand and nodded, “Will be obedient!”

“The King accepts your kind gesture . ” Charcoal Black use its beak to pick up the tree leaf, and use it to cover its body .

“Goodbye, Charcoal Black and Green Beans!” Amy got down from Michael’s hands, and waved her hands as the father and daughter pair walked on .

“Goodbye, next time remember to call me Sunny . ” Green Beans called out .

“Oh… . She is quite adorable . Then I, the king, will accept her request . ” Charcoal Black looks at the figure of Amy as she walked further and further away, and with difficulty, it remarked .

In the City of Sin, if you let your children out to play, the parents will find it hard to imagine what kind of playmates your children will end up with . There are all kinds of races living in harmony here .

As these children passed by Michael and Amy, they slowed down and looked at Amy .

Even time they do that, Michael would put on a fierce look, and use his body to block their sight .

This is his daughter! How could he let these rowdy boys target her?

On the other hand, Amy was very happy . Today there are so many little children looking at her with eyes filled with envy . This is the first time that this had happened .

“Papa, I want a hairstyle like hers . Help me tie it . ” Michael and Amy were resting on a bench in the park, when a 5-6 years old child cried out . The girl had a bun hairstyle and was shaking the hands of a 30+ years old muscular human .

“This… Yaya, you look very pretty right now . ” That man took one look at Amy’s braids and immediately his face turned pale . How could a burly adventure like him create a braid for a girl? Right now, he had a hard time making a bun for his daughter already .

At the same time, he was jealous of Michael . He thought that Michael must have a wife that knows how to tie their daughter’s hair . His wife dumped him with their daughter, and continued to gamble on by herself .

“Papa, wait a minute . ” Amy walked towards the other girl, and help to dry her tears .

“Oh, Amy is really filled with love and empathy . ” Michael was pleased at her actions .

The man also heaved a sigh of relief . If this girl could help to stop his daughter from crying, it would be great .

“Do not cry, anymore . Only my Papa knows how to make this hair-style . Even if you cry louder, your Papa could not make it for you . ” Amy withdrew her hands, and earnestly tried to explain to that girl .

The girl was about to stop crying as she looked at Amy in curiosity . When she heard Amy’s words, she looked at her father, then looked at Michael, and then wahhhh… . . she wailed even louder .

“This… . . she really … . . ” Michael widened his eyes in surprise . As expected, his daughter is really unique . He looked at the guy who was as dumbfounded as he was, and immediately grabbed Amy hands, uttered a “Sorry” and they left before this guy could recover his wits .

This is simple and easy to make, and each day, they could sell 1,000+ pancakes . Although this is cheap, the cost is also low . Each month, they could make 30,000 copper coins .

Michael suddenly recalled that when Michael McGonagall used to come out to find Amy, she was often squatting at a side like all the other children without any money, and look on at the pancakes .
