Back For My Daughter

At first Yuan Meng was a bit worried after hearing Ye Qian gasp.

She felt that she had done something wrong and this would make Ye Qian more worried about her.

But hearing his following words, Yuan Meng heaved a sigh of relief in her heart.

'This dummy, he almost made he worried to death.'

Yuan Meng shook her head with a smile and asked.

"Do I open my eyes now, Qian'er?"

Yuan Meng was already getting impatient to go back home, but she heard Ye Qian again.

She obliged and with her still closed eyes she looked at herself.

She was astonished to see that although unlike that of Ye Qian who had the threads completely surrounding his and making a cast for him.

Her body was also surrounded by a number of such wisps, but compared to Ye Qian it was not even 1 percent of the total.

But that was not what made her shocked.

It was the fact that the wisps of those threads were slowly turning into nothing as they went close to Ye Qian, but for her, they seemed like they were being sucked by her body.

And even more, continued to rush at her.

She was just like a tornado sucking all of those wisps into her body.

And after that, she would see nothing.

"Now open your eyes."

Ye Qian's voice again entered her ears but this time Yuan Meng took a few seconds to understand as she was still in a daze wondering as to what was happening here and what were those tiny wisps of threads.

"Qian'er what are all those threads?"

With her head tilted Yuan Meng asked in confusion.

"That is my dear the Spiritual Energy which I was talking about."

An all-knowing smile appeared on Ye Qian's lips.

Even he had never thought that he would have been able to find Spiritual Energy when he first came on Earth.

But that was to be considered since he didn't scan his surroundings when he was in Little Ming's village or he doubted that there might have also been some Spiritual Energy.

Back that day he was already injured and much less using Spiritual Energy, Ye Qian was not even able to use his powers of Spiritual Eye and others due to the rupture in his Dantian and the constant leaking of Spiritual Energy.

The constant outflow of Spiritual Energy from his Dantian also created a layer of Spiritual Energy around him which would only make him falsely assume that there was a source of Spiritual Energy around him.

But knowing that it was possible, Ye Qian had not paid much attention to it.

That was also because the Spiritual Energy released from his Dantian had a greater concentration when compared to that of the Spiritual Energy of the village.

And there was no way that the thin amount of Spiritual Energy would be attracted to him.

Much less it was his own energy which had dissipated in the atmosphere of the village.

So it was to be known that even if Ye Qian was in a place being surrounded by some Spiritual Energy, he was not able to sense it much less absorb it into his body.

Though all this time that had given the Spiritual Energy to Yuan Meng, Ye Qian had to in fact use more of his own Spiritual Energy in order to purify it and condense it into a form that Yuan Meng would not have any trouble in absorbing.

So here, though he said to Yuan Meng that he had not used any Spiritual Energy he had, in fact, used a lot, it was just that the gains were not as equal as that of the losses.

But it was still more considering that all Ye Qian had done these days was to use his own Spiritual Energy because of which his Cultivation Realm had decreased at an alarming level.

And if it weren't for the small amount which he got yesterday because of the World of Pridid, he would not have even been able to heal a tiny portion of his injured dantian.

Now he was only at a Nascent Soul Mid-stage, though he had got a SMALL amount of Spiritual Energy after coming back from the World of Pridid, it had also cured his injured dantian.

But that blast from yesterday threatened the lives of all those children which Ye Qian had saved and in order to save them Ye Qian's overexertion of the Spiritual Energy from his dantian caused that recovered bit to get bad again.

Though he didn't feel much pain now and the leaking of Spiritual Energy was also comparably less, it was still there.

And that was also why Yuan Meng was able to see Ye Qian's outline being completely surrounded by those thick wisps of white threads.

As of now, Yuan Meng had opened her eyes and stared at Ye Qian for him to explain the things which she was able to see in her vision.

"That is the Spiritual Energy, at first I was not able to feel if there was Spiritual Energy here due to some reason."

"But, you really have worked a lot hard and you even learned the Spiritual Eye very quickly."

Seeing the eager expression on Yuan Meng's face Ye Qian chuckled lightly and continued.

Ye Qian didn't dare to say what the real reason was for him to not able to sense the Spiritual Energy, he knew that once he told Yuan Meng about his injury in his dantian and the leak of Spiritual Energy from it, he knew that she would be worried to death.

But he had some ways through which he would be able to heal his injury in little to no time, it was just that he would have to search for the appropriate needed medicinal herbs for the recovery of his injured dantian.
