Lin Nan explained, “Although it’s filtered water, it’s not very clean because the filter is damaged. You can take a proper shower after it’s fixed.”
“Why didn’t you tell me that earlier?”
If she had known, she would just go to the mysterious space to take her bath!
“Anyway, as long as you don’t drink it, there won’t be a problem.”
Lin Nan chuckled and gave his wife a hug.
Li Ran sounded a little tired.
“Why don’t you sleep more?”
“I can’t fall asleep.”
“Then lie next to me. I will hug you until you’re asleep.”
Lin Nan proceeded to carry Li Ran to the bed.
He did not give her the chance to refuse at all.
It was already late and Li Ran had nowhere to go anyway, so she obediently complied.
Li Ran then thought to herself.
Since she had not entered the mysterious space for such a long time, she must have missed out on a lot of missions! What a loss! She should find some time to go in again soon.
When the morning sunlight shone, Li Ran felt better than ever.
She opened the window to get some fresh air.
After taking a sniff, she said, “Hubby, even the air here is better than those foul places outside!”
Li Nan smiled and agreed.
“But it’s a pity. We have to go to those foul places now. There are still people who need help.”

The two of them left the room while chatting and laughing happily.

There were two people in front of her. She burst into tears as she rushed over and hugged them.
“Dad, mom, I missed you both so much!”

“Thank goodness you’re safe. Although I expected nothing less from you. After all, you were the one who advised us to store food before any of this happened.”
Li Ran’s father smiled as he teased her. He had a gratifying look on his face.
Everything is fine now! They could finally stop worrying.
“Which room do you live in?” Li Ran asked as she walked with her parents.
She was more thrilled than ever.
“We’re on the second floor. You’re on the third floor, right?”
Li Ran sighed softly, “You have no idea how bad the living environment can turn out to be. It’s exhausting.”
“Our world is currently in an abnormal situation. At least we’re safe here. There’s also food and water. It’s all thanks to our son-in-law!”
Li Ran’s father said enthusiastically.
Upon hearing that, Li Ran was deeply moved.
Due to the mysterious space, she had become ungrateful and even complained about the shower in Lin Nan’s room.
