'Yakob?' 

Ban thought upon 'seeing' the figure with his Echo Hearing Skill. 

Ban looked up towards Rila and it seems that she noticed that it wasn't an animal or a Beast but rather, a person. 

"I think it's Yakob," Ban said in advance to prevent Rila from attacking, and from getting too tense. 

Rila nodded her head but she still didn't let down her guard. 

A moment later, Yakob truly appeared from the bushes. 

He looked ragged and tired, as if he didn't sleep for an entire week. 

Behind him were four other people along with their Summons. Three of them are male while the remaining one is female. Judging from their faces and age, Ban made a guess that all of them must be E-Elite Rank Summoners or at least, not far from being one.

He noticed them behind Yakob earlier, that's also the reason why he didn't tell Rila to let her guard down, as he himself was also on guard at this moment. 

Multiple scenarios of betrayal played out on his head at this moment. 

During these past two days, aside from cultivating, Ban also spent most of his free time reading the books he got from the library. That was also the reason why he only managed to absorb a few cores even though he could absorb one in a matter of hours. 

He was no longer the Ban who was ignorant about the relationship between a man and woman. He was already aware of a lot of plot scenarios where the good person, especially the main character, would get betrayed constantly by people around them. 

Yakob bringing another group of strong Summoners with him upon coming back truly smelled like a huge betrayal for Ban. 

Anyways, he was not letting his guard down. And it seems that Rila was also already aware of this from the start. It seems that Ban was still truly lacking in experience. 

However, instead of dwelling with his lack of experience, Ban instead focuses on the matter at hand. He checked all of his available Skills and got ready to Summon Tria. He also readied himself to equip all of the Items he possessed. 

However, it turns out that his worries are just for naught.

Upon seeing them, Yakob's dead eyes instantly lit up. Happiness was apparent to his face seeing that Ban and Rila were still there in the camp. 

"Sorry for leaving so abruptly before but I just couldn't afford to rest, also these are some of the personal guards of our Lord, they are here to help us in your request before." Yakob explained in a hurry as he bowed towards Ban's direction. 

"Also Mr. Ban, I've already gathered all of the ingredients, please concoct it immediately," Yakob continued. 

'Mr?' Ban was surprised by the way Yakob was addressing him. He seems to be a lot more respectful than before?

Seeing that Yakob and his companions didn't have any ill intentions, Ban finally relaxed his guard a little. 

"Alright, just give it to me!"

Yakob immediately handed him two Storage Pouches. 

Ban checked the contents inside and it was indeed complete with the ingredients he listed. And in fact, there seems to be a lot more compared to the requirements. 

However, Ban does not have any intention of returning it. It can be considered as the fee for concocting the medicine. 

After handing him the ingredients, Yakob ignored Ban and finally went towards the tents of his students and Ciera. The group behind him followed suit as well. 

Raul's eyes are on the verge of tears upon seeing his arrival. However, he was already a grown man so crying might be a little out of line, especially when the girl he loved was amongst the new group brought by Yakob. In the end, he just nodded towards Yakob and the others before he briefed them what happened during these past two days. 

At this moment, Ciera and the other two infected by the Scentless Hunger Worm were already worn out. 

Their bodies started to get thinner and paler. Blue visible veins were present around their body, it was as if there were countless worms that wriggled out of their skin. 

Normally, a person who was infected by the Scentless Hunger Worm this much would probably be lying down on their bed, weak and paralysed. 

However, due to Ban's intervention, though they could not move due to the restriction he set, at least they weren't paralyzed and the moment the worm was removed, they would be able to move again without any worry. 

Another thing was that, even though they could not move, to prevent them from exerting energy and thus harming themselves, their thoughts remained sane, and they were perfectly aware of what was happening during this period.

After seeing their situation and after hearing what happened during these past two days, Yakob instantly felt relieved and worried at the same time. He also felt grateful towards Ban and Rila for protecting and feeding them while he was away. 

Yakob was also worried that the ration he left would not be enough, that was also the reason why he rushed home immediately. However, what he did not expect was that the supply would run out immediately. 

Due to Raul's bad cooking, he needed to feed more food to the two worms, inhibiting the body of his two pals. If Ciera was accounted for in the situation, the supply Yakob left behind would not even last that long. 

Raul also emphasised how Ban took care of Ciera most of the time. And how he hunted everyday for them to have food to eat, earning another bout of gratitude from Yakob. 

"Alright, enough of the chit chat, go out for now and I'll clean the Young Miss's body," the only female of the group said as she drove them out of the tent. 

They did not insist on staying either and instead went to the other two people who got infected. 

However, one of them did not go with the rest but instead asked Raul a few other questions. 

After getting the answer he wanted, he no longer hesitated as he went towards Ban who was cooking dinner and was preparing to concoct the medicine.
